I lock the door and sit on the floor, with my back against my bed and my knees in my chest. I can't help but cry, again. Someone knocks on the door. "It's me," says Haz, "Please, open the door." "I'm fine, Haz. You can go," I say. "I don't want to go. I want to stay. I want to hold you," he says. In the other room, I hear Tom on the phone with the police. 15 minutes later, I open my door and Haz is sitting in the doorway. He stands up and hugs me, rubbing my back and kissing the top of my head. In this moment, I realize I love him and I'll never get over him. I hear the sirens and see red and blue lights on my wall. "Guys, let's go!" Tom yells before him and Anna walk out the door. We go downstairs and outside. We answer the officer's questions and sort things out. They say they will be arresting Isaac immediately. We all go back to the apartment. "I'm sorry I yelled. Please, forgive me," Anna says to me as I lock the door. "Yes, I forgive you. I love you," I say, giving her a hug. "I love you, too..so much," she says, crying. When we finish hugging, she hugs Tom and they sit on the couch and he tries to comfort her. "Here, let's go in my room," I tell Haz. I sit on my bed, my back against my pillow. I smile at him as I pat the space next to me. He smiles and turns his head, then he walks over. He puts his arm around me and I lay my head on his shoulder. I take a deep breath and close my eyes.
