Chapter 13: Crush

I was hungry and the school only provided lunch from 1:00-2:00 pm only so I had no choice but have some afternoon tea at Starbucks. When I arrived there I ordered a tall ' Cookie'n cream smoothie 'and a mushroom grilled cheese  sandwich . ' $5.59 dollars ' said the cashier in an robotic voice . I went to my back pocket of my jeans which were empty. " shit" I mummerd . My money was in the dorm room and a huge line was behind me . Then out of nowhere someone came to rescue " give me the same as her and two double chocolate chip cookies , please " said Aretha , helping me . ". Oh my gosh !! Thank you so much " I hugged him my chest my smashed into him which made him blush , I was so glad that he came to rescue since I saw a red head which I knew was Miles who saw everything gave me an ugly glare and went back to flirting with my crush Jake who was there but I really didn't care since Aretha was here . My food arrived first. " I'll go sit down first " I told Aretha. " save me a spot " he said . "Of coarse" I said and a huge grin break into my face ". I sat on a spot near the window and replayed the scene, he smelled so good and his muscle , damn !?!girl !!!don't even get me started on it!!
Out of nowhere someone kiss my cheek and blood rushes to my cheeks " wake up , dreamer" Aretha whispered in my ear . My whole face turned red like an freaking tomato. Then my brain alarmed me to thank him again " thank you so freaking much for saving me just now , Miles was there the red head sort of my enemy I guess and I could have been so humiliated in front of everyone " I told him and start gasping for air . " don't worry!! that's what friends are for ,right?? " . We started eating and then after a few minutes I saw Aretha stiffened and then he glowered " who's that guy staring at you for so long !!" He said harshly and was annoyed I can see for sure . I turn around and see Jake who winked at me an came towards our spot ." Oh !!I know who it is , it's Jake we are in the same maths class " Aretha muttered under his breath and his jaw clenched when Jake reached our table "hey Bree " sliding a hand through his hair and then he said " who's this " gesturing towards Aretha ."friend" I muttered and stood up to throw my rubbish ". Hey , can I borrow her " Jake asked nicely and his hand slid to my wrist  . Aretha seems to be nice and said " sure" and gave me sad look . " ummm , Jake ...I wanna hang out with Aretha " I said ." Oh never mind I'm free "Aretha said and stood up to tutor his trash too . " please , Bree it's about Miles " Jake said in a serious tone . " oh " I said and look towards Aretha."I'll be at the park "Aretha mumble to me . " wait for me , I still have to return your money "I told him ." Sure " he muttered under his breath and walked off . Oh how sexy he look .

We were outside the Starbucks and I wore my sweater it was getting cold . " wanna go to prom with me " Jake asked . I was stunned , I wanted to say yes but something was telling me not too stupid heart who do you have in your blood now . " ummmm , about Miles??" I asked . " oh , I was just lying to get you away from that freak " Jake told me . " anyways about prom ?" He added later . " what , you lie to me I hate people who lie and that was my friend , you are so freaking selfish " I spat at him and regretted it that instant ." I'm sorry, but I still wait for you you can hit me up any ti—" He was still saying but I ran to the ken and shouted Aretha name . People turn to stare new the park but inside there was no one and suddenly I figure jerk up which I knew was Aretha . I ran and hugged him wrapping myself in him . I have never did this to anyone and he was he first one and I don't regret it at all . I told him everything while he stroked my hair and I start crying smelling him I hate people who lie , he had so much patience even though I was so talkative .

I knew I loved him but does he loves me like I love him ???

Then out of no where Miles came towards Aretha and said " hey, Aretha can you get the ball out of the tree since you are the prefect"
Miles asked . Wait how come I didn't know that lol stupid me I just met him last night . " sure " he said of coarse he has to help her he is the school prefect . Then I saw it she kicked the ladder he used from the park janitors and he fell down and she start kissing him . She used him to make me sad and heartbroken. Want jake enough to make me sad . Why hasn't he pushed her why is he still there lying down . He probably thinks I'm useless and no one too he likes her not me . I ran away , I ran to the dorm and cried so much till my friends came and assured me and I told them everything from last night till that instant they called Jake telling him that I would go to the prom with him and they told him I apologised and he was happy and send me his regards and then Miles enter the dorm
