"Changbin!" Chan calls out, effectively blocking his friend from any available source of exit. Changbin still tries to escape from him though. "Changbinnn!"
"No, man!"
This is how the argument started: Chan had asked Changbin to give Kim Wooyoung their application form for the 'Battle of the Bands' show and Changbin immediately disagreed, saying that he had a Literature assignment to complete, and that Chan can give it to Wooyoung himself.
Chan had immediately disagreed, as everyone knew how mean and scary Wooyoung looked and acted, and the Student Council member didn't exactly like Chan either after that incident that involved Chan holding a strawberry flavoured yogurt and Chan 'accidently' dumping said yogurt on Wooyoung's shirt.
Changbin attempts to run under Chan's arms but the older catches him on time.
"You know I can't give it to him," Chan whines. "He's so scary and ugly, he looks like the spawn of Satan himself."
"But you're the leader," his friend argues and folds his arms. "And I don't wanna give him the form either. He gives me the creeps."
"I know right?" Chan says, shivering when he thinks about Wooyoung. Think about puppies, think about puppies, his mind shouts at him. He does and now he knows he won't have nightmares tonight. "But we have to give him the form by the end of the day!"
"So give it to him."
"Nope. We just have to find someone who can give it to him for us," Chan states, looking around the students loitering around the compound in hopes of finding his victim---uh---helper.
"Who is actually gonna do it for us?"
Chan feels like cheering when he spots somebody that can help them. "Hey, Jeongin! I didn't know you went to our school."
"I don't," Jeongin starts. "I'm the new lunch lady."
Chan waves him over, ignoring his apparent sarcasm, and as Chan and Changbin both stare at Jeongin, the male looks like he's slowly backing away.
"We need you to do something for us?" Changbin says.
"What is it?"
"Give our application form to Kim Wooyoung," Chan responds. When he sees the disbelief written on Jeongin's face, he adds, "please."
"Wait a second. Let me get this straight," Jeongin says. "You want me to give our form to Kim Wooyoung? The Kim Wooyoung who feeds on the souls of children and old ladies for breakfast, lunch and dinner?"
Chan nods. "Precisely yes."
Jeongin laughs. A loud, nervous laugh that doesn't hold any speck of happiness in it. He keeps on laughing as he moves backwards.
Chan realizes what he's doing and yells, "Get him!" He and Changbin try to grab Jeongin but the male is already on his heels, galloping across the school yard and up the stairs. "Well that was disappointing, but very expected."
Changbin sighs. "What are we gonna do now?"
Chan hands out his fist. "Let's play rock, paper, scissors. Whoever loses has to give Wooyoung the form."
Changbin lets out a loud sigh that adequately describes his deteriorating faith in humanity and just walks away from Chan.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Chan asks.
"I'm gonna go lie on the floor over there."
"Okay---but you have to give Wooyoung the form first!"
