As the days pass by, Chan realizes with full force what he just accomplished. He's a leader of a band, one that he decided to create on a whim, and now he's, figuratively speaking, got eight children to take care of (including Changbin, Woo-yuck and Jisung's friend).
It's Thursday night when he's eating dinner, which consists of cereal that he made, that he spills that information out to his parents.
"I've formed a band," Chan states, more to himself than anything, but his parents hear him and they both look at each other. "I actually formed a band."
"Really?" Chan's dad asks in disbelief, but he really shouldn't be surprised. It's so common for Chan to involve himself in so many things out of the blue, so much so that his parents can only keep up at aproximately one fifth of the time.
"Yes," Chan answers, staring at his father who looked so much like him, it was almost creepy. "I'm the leader."
"That's great, Chan," his mother responds, and conversation ends like that. His parents are an easygoing bunch, and Chan guesses that he inherited that from them. Changbin was always jealous of that fact, because his own parents always have to know where he is going to before he even walks out of his room.

"How's the song going?" Chan asks as he literally jumps on the seat next to Changbin in the cafeteria, startling the younger. Chan can never get tired of doing that.
"Fucking hell...and it's the song lyrics, for your information," Changbin answers, using his plastic fork to stab at a piece of kimchi which such ferocity that Chan's almost scared of him.
"Whatever. How's it going?" Chan asks again, biting into an apple. That's approximately the only thing that he can eat that he's bought from school.
"I haven't started yet," Changbin answers. He has a book on his lap that he's moderately concentrated on, but Chan feels like he's only reading it in order to have a reasonable excuse to ignore him.
Chan gasps. "Why?"
"I talked to Jisung, and he's gonna help me with them," Changbin says, finally watching Chan. "Did you know that he has a YouTube channel that he posts his songs on?"
Chan shows a look of surprise as he didn't expect this. "Really?"
Changbin nods. "Really. The guy's talented af."
"Did you actually just say 'af'?" Chan asks, laughing a bit.
"So what? I can't say 'af' now?"
"Text talk's gross."
"So are you."
Someone suddenly seats across from them, and both boys look up simultaneously, and Chan rolls his eyes.
"Why are you here, Kim?"
"I figured since we're in a band together now, we might as well get along," Woojin replies, giving a sickly sweet smile that Chan swears will give him diabetes. "And hi, Changbin."
"Hi," Changbin replies. "And the song lyrics are still undergoing maintainance, if you're wondering."
"Oh, okay," Woojin answers, turning back to Chan. "Are you taking part in writing the lyrics?"
