The next few weeks continued very much the same, apart from the fact that some of the boys are beginning to distance themselves from the others, and an air of tension always hung over the heads of those present in the same room. Sehun and Jongdae both told Jongin and Baekhyun what had happened, and the four are trying to come up with a plan to figure out what is going on. They set up their phones to record at roughly ten pm, in the rooms that Chanyeol and Kyungsoo sleep in. Sehun and Jongdae set up their phones downstairs, one in the living room and one in the kitchen. The four boys are hardly able to sleep that night, waiting for the next morning to come to review the footage. However, when they collect their phones, what they see isn't at all what they expected.

They review the camera footage from Jongin's phone first of Chanyeol and Yixing's shared room. They see their tall friend get ready for bed, tucking himself in and then going onto social media on his phone for a few hours. At roughly twelve (according to the alarm clock on his bedside cabinet), they see him suddenly rise from his bed - still asleep - and stumble out of his room to where the camera cannot see him anymore. The boys look at each other, before rewinding the footage, finding two transparent orbs fly past the sleeping boy on two separate occasions, each only minutes apart, coming from different direction. The two orbs seem to almost follow Chanyeol as he leaves his room, drifting just centimetres behind him.
"He needs to clean his room, it's so dusty!" Sehun cries out loud, slightly disgusted. The three look at him in confusion.
"What?" Jongin asks, screwing up his face. Sehun only sighs, before trying to explain.
"That was dust particles flying past the camera. Don't you guys find that gross?" He asks, pulling a face.
"I don't know if those were dust particles though. They looked kinda blue-ish, didn't they?" Baekhyun asks, rubbing the sleep in his eyes away.
" I don't know. What could it of been then? Perhaps-" Kyungsoo suddenly walks into the living room, eye bags present and skin pale. He slumps onto the sofa before giving the four a small wave of greeting.
"What are you guys doing?" He asks, curious. Jongdae coughs awkwardly.
"Baekhyun and Jongin are helping us with our uh . . . Homework."
"Sure. You two take different courses, both of which neither Jongin nor Bakhyun took, so spill." They all sigh, trying to come up with another lie in their heads.
"Ok. We're trying to come up with a surprise party for Myeon's birthday." Baekhyun says, the younger believing him because of his (seemingly) legitimate reason for lying in the first place. The four boys then work for an hour, trying to come up with ideas, switching to idle chat whenever Junmyeon comes into the room.

As soon as Kyungsoo leaves, which causes them all to sigh in relief, they all begin watching the footage again. They see that Kyungsoo however doesn't leave his bed, but tosses and turns during the night, waking up several times. On the third time of being awoken, the boys' eyes are already wide at the previous sights of the sheets being pulled from the smaller, but they spot the tall blurred figure of a man crouching down in front of the corner of their shared room, sliding his fingers along the wall. All of a sudden, the man walks across the room, fading with every step until he is no longer present.
"What the actual fuck?!" Baekhyun almost screeches, eyes wide in fear and he starts to shiver.
"We need to get out of here!" Jongin agrees, shutting off his phone, not even wanting to watch the footage of Chanyeol that he could've recorded from the living room and Baekhyun does the same, also not wanting to watch the footage of the kitchen.
"Why?" A voice asks and the group of four practically shriek when they see Chanyeol coming into the living room. He only looks a little tired, despite his travels during the night.
"Look, we need to get out of here, Chan! There's something here and we just need to leave, ok?" Sehun doesn't allow for further conversation and instead grabs the hand of his taller friend and drags him upstairs.
"Xing, Jun, Min! We need to go!" Jongdae screeches, wanting to cry in fear. The three males appear quickly in the living room, eyes soft in concern.
"What's going on?" Asks Minseok, worried at the look on the boys' faces.
"There are things here that don't want us to be. Pack your things and let's go!" As soon as Baekhyun explains, there is a loud rumbling sound and all of the boys huddle together in fright. All of the pictures hanging on the wall of them together and with their families, all fall onto the ground one after the other and smash on the wooden flooring. Junmyeon sprints to the front door, pulling the handle harshly towards him but to no avail, the door is locked. The locks are undone on the door frame, but something isn't allowing it to open. Chanyeol and Yixing try the kitchen windows, however they don't open. Something doesn't want any of them to leave. They are trapped.

Minseok jolts upright in his bed, beads of sweat rolling from his forehead and dripping from the top of his nose as he gulps in air. His hands tremble and his eyes are wide. What happened in that dream? He looks across from his own bed to see Kyungsoo still asleep. Did he dream that entire event? He shivers and cautiously walks over to where his friend sleeps. His own hands tremble with every step he takes, his bare feet padding softly against the beige carpet.
"Kyungsoo? Wake up." He whispers while shaking his friend. Of course, the answer is a rather grumpy one.
"What, Min? I'm trying to sleep." He grumbles a little loudly. Minseok almost rolls his eyes. Suddenly, he can't think of what to say.
"Um . . . Have you, maybe um . . . Felt a little strange lately?" He inwardly cringes at how his sentence sounds but keeps his thoughts trained on the younger.
"No, why?" Minseok furrows his eyebrows. Not very convincing.
"No reason, just wanted to ask." Minseok's nerves dissipate and he spins on his heels to walk to his own bed.
"Hey, Min?" The older spins around. "Um. Nothing, goodnight." Kyungsoo rolls back over as Minseok sighs and pulls the covers back over himself. He knows that the dream carried a message, but was the message as simple as it seemed? Deciding that he might be dwelling two much on the subject, he forces it out of his head and closes his eyes.

The next morning, Minseok stumbles into the kitchen, face pale, eyes lidded and head thumping as if it's going to explode. There are red ropes which sprawl across the surface of his eyes and an earthquake rumbles through his body making his hands shake and insides churn.
"Hey, Min? Are you feeling alright?" Sehun asks. He helps his older friend to sit down and makes him a coffee. Or tries to. As soon as Sehun turns the machine on, the grinding is enough to make the small man snap, suddenly standing on his two feet to switch it off. He storms out of the room and goes upstairs. Sehun and Yixing who was in the fridge look at each other in concern, before deciding to give their friend some space. They then finish getting their breakfasts and sit down at the table.
"He's been acting strange as well lately, you've noticed it too, right?" Yixing asks.
"Yeah. He's been having frequent headaches and he has completely changed recently. He's become an asshole." Sehun moans angrily.
"Yeah. He's changed. Do you think he's sick?"
"Sick or not, doesn't change the fact that he's acting like a dick." The younger curses, causing Yixing to laugh. "Look, all I did was try to help. I went to make him a coffee but then he got angry." Sehun throws his hands into the air exasperatedly.
"Do you have the feeling that something . . . Odd is going on?" Yixing leans in to speak to Sehun, worried that someone else will be listening in.
"Yeah. Ever since that day where Jongin's trainers were ruined, I got the feeling that something doesn't want us here. I don't actually think that anything broke into the house. I think that that something was in fact already in here." The conversation was enough to cause the hairs on their arms and the backs of their necks to stand up.
