"I'm so sorry, Ind. There was too much bleeding in her brain. Her heart is still beating but her brain is dead." Jubilee wearily informed her sister of her niece's death. Indra's heart felt like it had been ripped out of her chest. She suddenly became light headed and dizzy. Nothing seemed real. Her life fell like it fell apart from her. Her throat seemed to clench and suffocate her. A sharp pain in her stomach developed in the pit of her stomach. She suddenly became angry and she slapped her sister. Jubilee didn't even flinch, she clenched her jaw and allowed her sister to digest the news.

Indra let out an inhuman scream and dropped to her knees. Tears flowed freely down her face. She had been so sure that Harley would make it. She thought her god had planned such a brilliant future for her, but instead, he snatched the innocent creature from her mother's arms. "No. No. No. No." Indra repeated over and over again. She couldn't believe it. She was devastated. She felt like she had no oxygen and she was slowly suffocating to death.

"Let me know when you want to unplug her." Jubilee weakly stated. It hurt her so much to have to make her own sister suffer. Jubilee felt utterly responsible for her niece's death, just as Indra felt responsible for Diana's death.

With that, Jubilee walked away from the bawling Indra on the ground. Tony, whom had been standing behind Indra the entire time, only stared out into space in shock. He had never grown so close and cared for and loved a person so much until his daughter was born. To have that being torn away from you was traumatizing and heartbreaking. Tony simply shook his head and walked out of the hospital.

Two weeks later...
The small black casket was slowly lowered into the ground. Indra and Tony had buried their only child together, and they didn't know how they were going to survive life without her. "Walls seemed to cave in on me, but, when I looked into her eyes, I felt alive. When she held me tight, I felt alive. My heart beat so damn quick when she said my name. She deserved more." Indra spoke out to the crowd, giving her last speech in the funeral.

Indra suppressed her sobs. "I fought for her the hardest. She made me the strongest. She showed me love was all I needed. Not fame. Not power. Not money.  Heaven couldn't seem to wait for her. Padre nuestro, que estas en el cielo santificado sea tu nombre venga tu reino hágase tu voluntad en la tierra como en el cielo. Amén." Indra continued her speech, ending it with a prayer she recalled her mother reciting at her father's funeral and her family reciting at her mother's memorial, since there was never a body found.

For the past two weeks, Indra couldn't look at Tony in the eyes. She saw too much of Harley in him. Harley was a photo copy of him. It didn't take long for the two to return home from the funeral. Their home didn't feel the same at all. Harley's scattered toys made it all worse. It was a reminder that she once played and lived and loved there.

Tony and Indra was laying in bed, their eyes wide open and bloodshot when Indra began to speak. "I can't do this anymore. I can't live the rest of my life seeing her in you." Indra confessed to the love of her life.

Tony was silent for a few moments before replying. "What are you going to do about it?" He inquired.

"I'm going to leave you." She announced to him.

Tony was already in too much shock to say anything other than: "Okay." And with that, they spent their last night together laying in bed wondering if anything was real.

They were lost. They were in a dark place with no guide. They felt alone despite being surrounded by friends and family. The silence that swarmed them felt so loud.
