Chapter 3 Orentation Day

        Waking up in the morning getting dressed for orientation day. Lord give me the strength. Jasmine and i decided to go down together. i wore a simple Nike sweat suit and my Nike slides. i grabbed my phone and keys headed out the door. i seen jasmine in the the living room. "You ready she asked and i simply nodded my head 

        We walked into the room and it was packed. i saw two seats where James were and headed over there. I took a seat next to him with jasmine on my other side. wow this room is huge. i though to myself. "Hey Best friend" James said . "Hi James"   Welcome to Georgia State University. I'm Ms. Powell the dean. That's when i zoned out. I looked up and noticed James was staring at jasmine. 

        "You know its not nice to stare" I said and he laughs

        " I know she is really pretty, can you do me a favor and hook me up please."

        I smirked "Mabey" i said 

        "Oh hey there's this party where having later on you two should come it would be fun" he said I thought about it. "Ok ill text you"  After 30 min, orientation was over. walking outside i saw , ugh whats his name ... man i forgot. Then i realized he is in front of me. 

        "Hey Asia Right?" 

          "Yeah "

        "Have you seen James?" 

         "Yeah he should still be in there"

        He kept talking but i tuned him out. "Hello" he said 

               "What  

        "Never Mind" He said and walked away.

        Going back into my dorm. i decided to find something to wear. i decided to wear some shorts and my blue Nike shirt and shoes. yes i just sport. anyways i text James and asked him for the info. he text back saying the party starts at 8 and its 7 right now. I decided to get in the shower. then I lotion up and put my hair in a neat bun. I walked out and knocked on jasmine door to see is she's ready. she opened her door and i just looked at her. she looked alright. but she had on a black strapless tight dress on with heels. what kind of party is she i asked myself. 

        We made it to the door and knocked. They let us in. wow this party is packed. i turned my head and jasmine was gone. so i made my was to the bar and got me some water. "Best friend" I heard James say over the music. "hey did you talk to your friend for me " he asked. "oh yeah I forgot , let me go find her" i said. he nodded his head and I walked away.

        I spotted her dancing on some guy and i pulled her away from him. O'lord she is drunk. 

        "Having a good time" She slurred out.

        "Yeah I'm having a good time" i said blankly 

        "Yeah to bad Roxy isn't here"  and she walked away.

        Huh ?  how do she know Roxy. Anyways James came up to me and said "So?" 

        "I didn't ask her she's drunk, but something is bothering me. " 

         "What? " he asked 

        "She just mentioned my best friend  name but i never told her about her before" 

        "Well maybe she heard you say her name or something. Don't Trip" he said 

                I nodded my head and thought about it for another second. that's weird. but i just shook that feeling off and enjoyed the party. After dancing i decided to get something to drink. walking to the bar i spotted ughh i think his name is .. dang i forgot again. but anyways i walked up to him and said "Hey" he didn't respond so i said hey again. Is he ignoring me i thought? maybe he just didn't want to be bothered so i was about to walk away but he pulled my arm and said "It doesn't feel good to be ignored does it" I laughed" ugh i really don't care". i said. " You know you got that I don't give a fuck attitude, i like that" he said.  I smirked  "Oh really"  he just nodded his head. 

        "Its getting late and I'm sleepy I'm about to head out " 

        "Yeah me to I'll walk you. i hesitated at first but i just nodded my head and we walked out the door.  we started walking, it was night out . it was awkward because we both was silent. So i just broke the silence. " So you run track?" i asked him 

        " No just core training i play football" 

               "Oh Okay" i said 

        It was silent a little longer and we finally got in front of my dorm. "Alright well Thanks" i said with a small smile. I waved and walked in my room. i changed in to something more comfortable and laid  down. i decided to call Roxy. 

 "Hey boo"I said

        "hey girl what you doing up so late?" 

        "Girl i just came back from this party?" 

        "Oh shoot how was it?" 

        "It was ok but it was to many people though"

        "What did you wear?" she asked 

        "What you think?" 

        She laughed "Girl you always dressed like you ready to run, change up sometimes boo. 

        "Ok ok i will" i said 

        "Anyways did your roommate go with you?" she asked 

        " Yes she did, you should have seen what she wore i was like lawwd. " i said making us both laugh. 

        "You a trip but girl I'm tired the coach wore us out today I love you ill talk to you later" 

        "  I love you to Goodnight" 

        I was on my way to sleep then i remembered Jasmine. i left her at the party drunk. i got my phone and called James. "Where are you" James ask 

        "I'm in my room , bring jasmine for me please" I said 

        "How you just gone leave your friend drunk at a party" 

         "First of all she is not my friend she is my roommate. Now bring her please"

        "Nope come and get her.

        "Best friend Please" 

        He laughed "Ok open the door" 

        What The Hell . There was no point of me calling him i . i opened the door. and he walks in with jasmine and i showed him her room. he put her in the bed and closed her door. 

        "thank you" i said 

        "No problem , ill see you tomorrow iight I'm tired." 

        "OK goodnight be safe" with that he left. i went into my room and laid down. Then the thought of jasmine knowing Roxy came to mind. How do she know her i thought. I closed my eyes. I'm going to sleep.
