Fatuous Metality

Chapter 4

Waking up, I looked at the time. It was 7:30 my class starts at 9:00.  I get up hit the shower, came back to get dressed. i wore sweats and a noodie with my nike slides, and my hair was in a ponytail. i was not trying to impress anyone. Grabbing my backpack, walking out the room to the mini refregerator. I grabbed some fruit and start eating it. Looking up i see jasmine wearing these high heal pumps with this black dress on or what ever she looked cute though." Were you going?" I asked her "ugh to class" she said with a confused look. "Oh" was all i said. And she left. Finishing my fruit I looked at the time and it was 8:30. Time for me to go. Getting my phone and keys , I left. Im taking Geomerty again because I have a hard time with it. Walking all the way across campus I finally reached my class. God I need a car so bad. Walking in my class I spotted james and jasmine. What the hell i though. I could of got a ride. sitting down on the other side of james. 

        "Hey Bestfriend" 

        'Hi James" was all i said 

        "Just a hi james?"  

        I was mad, bestfriend my ass. he could have gave his bestfriend a ride! I just rolled my eyes. The proffesser came and talked. I was bored but its what ever though. I ignored james the whole time and he just talked to jasmine. Class was over and i was starving. I bought me a sandwhich and i strawberry smoothie at the cafe and sat down. I began to eat then my phone rung. looking at my phone it was James.

        "Hello" I said with an attitude 

        "Hey why you mad ? What I Do ?" he said 

        "Nothing Ok" 

        "Where are you?" He asked

        "The Cafe"

        "Im on my way" He said 

        "No-" and he hung up 

        Thinking about what happened in class. I shouldnt have gotten mad. I sighed. when I looked up i seen james walking in, he spotted me and came to sit down. 

        "So whats up with you?" he asked 

        "Nothing just tired thast all" 

        "Then why were you giving me attitude earlier?" 

        " Im sorry im just mad that i had to walk to class this morning"

        "oh so you dont have a car"

        "No not anymore"

        " Ok so what class you have next" he said 

        " ugh english it starts at 1" i said Looking at the time its 12:30 

        "Well I think i better go"

        "Wait is your class in 107" 

        "Yeah" i said 

        "Come on i have the same class" 

                I nodded my head and threw my trash away. i followed him and we reached his car. he has a grey  2013 Cheverolet Camaro L. Getting inside i looked around it smelled fresh and its really clean. " ok say so after track practice lets do some thing me ,you ,cornell and jasmine. "Oh I dont know". "Please" he said " Ok ok but were we going" i asked "Downtown Atlanta, were going shopping, and since your new and all we could show you around." "Ok good" i said        

        Class was ok, but its funny how we have an essay on the first day. We have till friday to turn it in. Now its time for track practice. Finally! Walking out the door headed to the feild. Now you see why i wear my stuff. Im always prepared. Walking to the track putting my stuff down, warming up which was a mile. That was easy. As i was about to stretch, I heard some girls walking pass me talking about jasmine had this pretty necklace on. Remembering that i lost mine. I'll Look for it later. My best friend gave me that. she would go crazy if i told her i lost it. Anyways i was stretching and i spotted james and cornell. yes I remeber his name. They were warming up also. 

        The Coach called everyone over. we all walked over there. "Ok everyone today is gonna be an esay day. everyone is doing 15 100 meters. i smiled. Man i miss doing that. "Girls to the right and boys to the left, i need 4 guys and 4 girls to fill in the lanes." he said Nobody moved so i went into lane 4. James and cornell went into lane 5 and 6. And the rest filled  the lanes up. I started stretching.

        " She think she fast" i heard someone say 

        "yeah thats the new girl, i be seeing her talk to james girl" another one says

        "She aint shit" someone else says 

        I looked over and seen coach shaking his head. I rolled my eyes getting ready. 

        "On your Marks" Coach says

        I think ima show off. I wasnt at first but now ima show these girls what im really about.

        "Get Set "

        Watch this i thought to myself 

        "Go" 

        I took off 

        "Damn she fast" I heard some people say. I just smirked walking ont he side i see them other girls running and they slow as hell. i aint got time for all that. 

        "Dame Bestfriend you take this serious dont you." 

        I laughed  " Yeah well i wasnt gonna go run as fast but them rats over there was shitting out there mouths, so i had to put them in there place."

        He laughs" ok so be ready by six" he says 

        "Why" i asked 

        "I though-" 

        "Im just playing ok I'll tell jasmine." 

        "You want a ride" he asked 

        "Yeah" I said

        He dropped my off and i went to tell jasmine. 

        "Girl James is cute i like him" 

        "Awe thats cute but mabey you should tell him when we go to downtown atlanta." I said 

        "Yayy shopping who's all going ?" she asked 

        "Me, You , James and cornell be ready by 6 " 

      "Ok" was all she said and she went to her room. 

        I went into mines and looked at the time. it was 4:30 Good i have some time.
