It was cold winter morning. She had wrapped herself in her duvet and grimaced as her feet padded along the cold tiled floor of the bathroom.
She looked in the mirror, her face looked a bit rough.
She fixed herself up and walked into the kitchen greeting her parents with a sleepy smile.

She walked along the icy path into the city. She blew warm breath on her hands and viciously rubbed them together. She didn't like walking in the dark, it was like everyone was going to harm you. She didn't know any self defense, well maybe she could kick really hard but what if the villain had a gun? That wouldn't be too smart now, would it?

She got to the end of her trip and sat on a frosty bench. Not the best decision as she violently shook from shivering.

"HEY SADIE!"
