I open my eyes and stare at the ceiling. It has been two years since the day I left him at the hospital. After that, I visited him many times but he is still unconscious. Patty is always there, also waiting for him to wake up. I already forgive her but it still hurts. Edrei didn't bother telling me anything about his relationship with Patty but I don't know why after two years, I still want him. I am still wanting to take everything between us back to the way it used to be. I still love him.

I pull myself up from my pillow and get the laptop.

"Good morning, sweetie."

I smile, "Good morning, Ryan."

"Why are you so early?" He asks. I look on my laptop. Yeah, he is right. It's new for him to see me wake up this early. It's five in the morning.

He comes near me and sits beside me. "Mom and Dad are waiting for you downstairs."

I look at him curiously, "Why?"

"They want to tell you something."

I immediately close the laptop and get the blanket off my legs. I walk with Ryan downstairs. Soon as we get there, I gawked.

"Rebecca."

They are all looking at me but my eyes are sticked to someone very familiar.

"Honey, congratulations! He told us that you're qualified in their company. You're now an official engineer!" Mom hugged me and gave me a kiss on my cheeks while Dad just smiled and tapped my head.

I show a quick smile because his presence bothers me.

Ryan hangs his arms on my shoulder and guides me to the living area. I forgot to tell you, guys. Four months ago, Dad and my stepmom arrived from abroad and that was also the time when we got okay with each other. Somehow, I am feeling comfortable with my stepmom because she's not that bad. Actually, she is loving and caring just like Mom. And now that everything is okay, someone just appeared.

"Aren't you happy?" Mom asks me. I look at him and my heart starts beating abnormally.

I smiled before sitting on the couch.

"Ms. Rios," he uttered.

"T-Thank you, Sir. I didn't know you're the company director. It's really a surprise."

His mouth curved into smile, "No need to thank me. You deserve that."

"What brings you here? I know it's not just about my qualification."

He looked down and moved his fingers touching each other back and forth. He gets something inside his coat and hands it to me.

"What's this?" He gulped. I examine the red envelope he gave me. I noticed a typewritten name on its back.

My eyes narrowed as I look up to Sir Edward. It looks like he hesitated to give it to me but he has no option.

"A wedding invitation?" I ask.

My family is looking at me curiously. Ryan is sitting beside me. He gets the invitation from my hand and open it.

"Who's getting married?" I ask Sir Edward but he didn't answer me.

I moved my body to Ryan's direction and watch him read the piece of paper. Its scent is so strong that I can smell it even it's inches away from me.
