CHAPTER 3: HERE WE GO AGAIN!

PREVIOUSLY, TAILS HAD LOST HIS MEMORY, IN AN ATTEMPT TO FIND CLUES, HE FOLLOWS HIS INTUITIONS ONLY TO FIND AN IDENTICAL LITTLE, YELLOW FOX.

Tails immediately started rushing after his past self in order to ask it more questions; however, for some reason, he wasn't able to catch up. After a series of sharp turns, Tails found his past self sneakily entering a cave. He did so as well only to find his past self watching Eggman from a distance. After Eggman failed, his past self took two swords out of its hold. WAIT! Those two swords were identical to the ones on his belt! After his past self had left, Tails ran after it again, but after the first turn, it disappeared. Suspiciously, Tails enetered the cave. Immediately, his swords started glow faintly, but the deeper he went, the stronger the light. He finally reached the place in which he had recieved the swords from, except there was definetely something off this time. It was completely silent... NOPE! Suddenly, there was a low growl. A random fox, not tails' past self, but a huge, random fox appeared out of nowhere. It was large enough to make the cave collapse. Tails had just stood there, amazed, but something inside of him knew what was happenning. He suddenly moved at the speed of light, no at the speed of Sonic, no fast enough that he deserves his own level of speed, he moved at the speed of TAILS! Outside, Tails had battle like he had never before... well at least in his present memory. He kept on unintentionally doodging, and attacking! After a while of the pointless game, the "voice" had spoken once again:
"FINISH THIS NOW. YOU COULD HAVE KILLED HIM WITHIN 3.74 SECONDS. WHY TAKE SO LONG? DRAW YOUR SWORD AND FINISH HIM!"
3.74 seconds? Tails had no idea what that was or how someone like him could kill that.. that BEAST within that short amount of time! Either way, Tails moved again, but this time with his sword. His movements were so fluent that it was almost as if he had memorized his combos! Anyways, Tails grabbed his left sword and swiftly made his attack on the beast. The beast had seemed weakened rather than hurt. It looked as if something was draining his power! Tails noticed this and acted quickly. He finished it off with a swipe from the right sword. After the beast had vanished, Tails had dropped down and had immediately felt a pulse throughout his body. Suddenly, he regained part of his memories and emotions back. So he DID fight Amy! Now he felt a disgusted- like emotion toward her. WAIT A MINUTE.... Maybe this was the key! He would regain memories through his past experiences! What would his next move be? Follow his intuitions, or create a new path?
