"I really overestimated those guards. Too easy," the pilot stated, his hands gripping the controls of the stolen ship.

"I CONCUR. THE IMC HAS REALLY DECREASED IN THE QUALITY OF GUARD TRAINING," his Ion Titan replied.

"Remnant, here we come. Scav, what do you think we're getting ourselves into?"

"UNCERTAIN, BUT ONCE WE GET TO THE SURFACE, LAND NEAR ANY BROKEN BUILDING. THERE IS A HIGH CHANCE OF HUMAN CONGREGATION IN FRESHLY RUINED BUILDINGS."

"Good call, Scavenger. I see something in the distance. Police ships?"

"GO CHECK IT OUT."

"I'm gonna land here. Stay with the ship. I don't need you drawing more attention to us than I will be."

"UNDERSTOOD. I WILL BE HERE ON YOUR RETURN, WRECKAGE."

(Wreckage POV)

"Haven. Heard of it. Huntsman academy. Isn't there a battle going on there? That must be the building in the distance. News travels fast through the planets." I spoke out loud to myself. I sprinted through the forest, using a combination of my jump kit and upgrades to propel myself faster. I felt a presence near me... I could feel his anger and grief until finally, I saw him. He wore a mask and had vibrant red hair. He tried to pass me, but he could have a bounty on him, and I could use the money.

I kicked him down as he tried to rush by me. He unsheathed his bright red sword and tried to bring it down on me. I blocked it with my arm. It scraped down, causing sparks to fly. I swept his legs and he fell, loafing a fresh chamber into my right in the process. With it loaded, I fired. The bullets seemed to just ricochet off of his blade. I need to disarm him.

I unsheathed my data knives and rushed him. Our blades collided, the earsplitting sound of metal scraping on metal rang out through the forest. He pushed me back, I got back up. His sword grazed my left arm, drawing blood. Alright, so this is how we're gonna do this. I sheathed a knife and ran toward him, jumping up and flipping over him. I grabbed his neck with my right hand and let electricity course through my circuits into his body. He collapsed and dropped his sword. I kicked off his mask, though he was blindfolded under it, and took his sword and scabbard. I shouted at him: "Who the hell are you?!"
