Chapter 9

Ginny~

We followed Hermione to the girls dorm room. It was quite simple, a few beds and a large window. Gen immediately pounced on the bed next to the window, smirking at me, we both allways fight for the window bed. I glared glumly at her but strutted to the bed in the dark, dusty corner, finding all my things already there. I looked over at Gen, (who had begun pulling all her possesions out of her suitcase ) then at Hermione who just stood there and watched us.

"Hermione aren't you going to unpack?" I questioned her.

"Oh, Ginny I guess I forgot to tell you two..."

At this point Gen stopped unpacking ( more like tugging at all her clothes and throwing them into a heap on the floor ) and joined our conversation.
"Forgot to tell us what?"

"I... Since I'm a year older I won't be sharing the same dorm room as you two..."

"WHAT!!! Awwwwww....." Gen cried.

"But then where is your dorm room?" I asked.

"Oh don't worry! It's just 3 doors away from here. And besides I'll stay with both of you until you guys fall asleep. Then I'll go. So don't worry I'll be with you two most of the time!" Hermione said cheerfully.

"That's nice! We can come to your dorm room too right?" Gen asked.

"Sure. I mean, you aren't supposed to and if you get caught then that's another problem but I'm sure breaking 1 or 2 school rules because of being in the wrong dorm, won't be too bad.." She laughed.
"But if you end up in one of the boys dorms, now that's a different story..." she winked at us but mostly me.

Then she shared a grin with Gen and both of them started laughing.

"Ugh, not this again..." I grumbled. "What's so funny???"

"Imagine if you end up in Harry's dorm one night. And you guys get cought on bed toget-"

"OH MY GOSH GEN THAT WOULD BE... WELL THAT WOULD BE... I...THAT- " I stumbled upon words. Ugh. Why was it that whenever we talked about Harry I couldn't even say anything properly?!

"AMAZING?" Gen shouted smugly.

"WONDERFUL?" Hermione giggled.

Both of th looked at each other and said,

"THE BEST THING EVER?!?" And giggled terribly.

"I hate you two...." I grumbled. But they were still laughing. So I decided to join them with this cheeky boy talk.

"Gen, do you have a crush on Dra-Malfoy?" I asked her.

Hermione looked at me and smirked at Gen.

"Yeah, Gen by how you watched him at the Great Hall, everyone would have thought that you had a crush on him.." Hermione teased.

Gen turned bright red and looked down at the carpet.

"OH MY GOSH, do you actually like him?!" Hermione asked shocked. Of course she was just kidding at first but she had never expected Gen to react like that. And neither did I...

Gen started twitching her body and furrowing her eyebrows. She was going redder and redder. Hermione must have though she was still blushing so she went on...

"OH MY GOSH Genevieve! You actually like-"

I held her hand, signalling her to stop. She looked at me confused and I just shook my head and turned back to face Gen.

"Gen... Are you o-" I started.

"I DO NOT LIKE DRACO MALFOY OR HIS MEAN, OBNOXIOUS FAMILY. YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT. THE ONLY REASON I WAS STARING AT HIM WAS BECAUSE I HATED HIS FAMILY. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TWO THOUGHT THAT!" She screamed at us.

Before we could do or say anything she walked out of the door slammimg it close. I shared a worried look with Hermione.

"She wasn't supposed to react like that.." she whispered to me.

"She's not usually like that Mione... She is a short tempered person but she doesn't get mad that fast. Something's wrong..." I whispered back.
