A Demons' Pet [Discontinued Version]

Chapter Two - 'Brotherly Talk'

I sat in my study, a small glass of scotch in hand. It's been three days since I've been in the Human Realm, yet I kept an eye on her. My butler, Trenslee - a goblin - has been making sure she's safe and has sent messages through crows to tell me if she has been hurt, any newlywed-learnt information about her, anything concerning her.

"Hello, brother." I heard Jasper say, his footsteps coming from the hallway.

"Hello, Jasper. Your back from Sweden, I see." I respond, taking a small sip from my glass.

"Yes, and as I was travelling back couldn't help but notice that Trenslee was tailing a girl in Human Realm." Jasper said, I could hear a faint hint of Swedyn in his voice. He has been gone for over five months, on commands from the King himself. It's quite an honour for demons to be selected for special tasks or commands.

Jasper went to the collection of alcohol me and him rarely drink and poured a glass of what smelled like Rum, his favorite choice of drink.

"The girl, as I also noticed, is a fairly peculiar sight. Don't you think?" Jasper continued.

"Yes, she is." I said, what is my brother thinking?

"Yes, you know what I think, brother?"

"What?"

"She could be a reincarnation."

"A what?" I stood up and turned to see Jasper fully.

"A reincarnation. Or otherwise known as an Old Soul.. Their very rare." Jasper said, I know he is just looking for an excuse to have a pet. It's quite boring nowadays. "She looks like she should be in a dress - instead of jeans - in the.. 1690's, don't you think?"

"Now that you think of it, yes. She does.." I said. "Alright, Jasper. Maybe. I'm going upstairs to work on some documents a friend needs.." I said, walking to the stairs and going up into my bedroom.

Why is that girl haunting my thoughts?

Hey, everyone! I hope you enjoyed having a small glimpse into the demons.. Life? Yeah, haha. Anyway, so I promise that the next chapter will be longer and more exciting than this one. It will certainly be more important than this, because Jasper here is a little more different than when he sees the girl.. Who's name I am not giving yet. And please give me some ideas for this demons name! I don't know what it should be! Ah! Just not something really really old or something, I thinking a nice and handsome sounding name.. Anyway.
