I sat on the bed and sighed, I don't trust this room anymore. The window was still bolted shut, and now I'm afraid if there's a monster under the bed. I haven't believed in monsters ever since I was nine years old, I feel like a small child whom has strayed away from his or her parents.
But haven't I?
I raise my legs to my chest in fear if hands will grab my ankles and take me away from my new sanctuary.
I'm probably not going to go to sleep now, fear has proclaimed my mind and has made me incapable of doing anything for myself.
The door to the bedroom opened and Alex revealed himself. "Oh, you're still awake. I'd thought you'd be asleep by now."
I shrug, not knowing what to reply with.
Alex seems to smell something. "... Are you scared?"
I nod.
"Why's that?" He asked with a sympathy that seemed strange.
"I.. I feel like there is something under the bed..." I mumble in embarrassment.
Alex smiled kindly. "Would you like it if I looked under for you?"
I look down, anywhere from his eyes as I nod.
Alex closes the door and walks toward me, he goes to his knees and sets a hand near my foot as he moves to look under.
A second or two passed until he arose and stood with the same small smile on his face. "There's nothing under your, Reg." He says.
I look up at him as he continues to reassure me that I will be able to sleep soundly. "Thank you, Alex.."
"You're welcome.. Goodnight, sleep tight." He says an old saying, turning the light off and closing the door behind him.
((Real Fact: In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on bed frames by ropes. When you pulled on the ropes, the mattress tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on. Hence the
phrase..'Goodnight, sleep tight'.))I blink my eyes as I look around in the dark. I suppose Alex wants me to sleep.

"Miss? Excuse me, miss?" I hear a woman say over the dark wave-y music playing in my ears. I had found my MP3 player in my hoodie pocket.
I take my earbuds out and look to the lady in a dark brown, feudal-like dress. "Yes?" I say.
"Haven't you had any sleep, miss?" She asks.
I think and shake my head.
"Pardon me, miss. But Master Alexandru and Master Jasper demand you go to living area.."
"Okay.. Thank you!" I say before she goes to close the door.
"You are welcome, miss." She bows her head before leaving, closing the door.
I get up, stretching my muscles since I had been in the same position for hours. I run a hand through my hair and rub my eyes before walking to the door and out through the hallways, soon I reached the living room and before I turn the corner I hear, "are you sure it's him? Why would he, of all Demons, be interested in pure souls?" It was Jasper.
"I don't know. I just know that I saw him." Alex said.
