Chapter 17

I just looked at chase. "I would love to go to prom with you" I said and got out of bed and went over and hugged him.

"Thank you" he said.

"How did you get in here?" I asked him

"Your mom let me in." He said. "I will go now."

I walked over to my desk and put my messy hair in a pony tail. "Wait, not before I take a picture." My mom said walking in the room.

"Here's my phone" I said and handed her my phone. My mom took a couple of pictures and chase left.

I posted the pic on Instagram and people just started to comment how cute we were.

I decided to check Instagram and Twitter before I got up and got ready. Then my phone started to ring, and I don't have the number saved. I hesitated for a moment then answered. "Hello?"

"Hello, is this Taylor Johnson?" A man said on the other side if the call.

"Yes, who am I speaking to?" I asked

"I am Bart, the owner of magcon. I would like to let you know that I was not there the last day of Orlando, and I heard you performed. The boys are not allowed to have anyone perform with them." He said and paused. My stomach dropped. I hope Shawn didn't get in trouble.

"However," he continued "I heard the video and loved it." He said as I instantly recovered.

"Thank you Bart, but I don't sing." I said.

"Nonsense. You can't pull that one because I looked you up."

What?

"Um.." I said.

"You didn't let me finish. I looked you up and saw you do chorus, you have a near perfect GPA, plus you already have sort of a fan base. You are just the type of person I am looking for." He said

"Looking for, for what?" I asked.

"To join magcon." He said and I felt something. I am not sure if it is my heart leaping out of my chest, or if my stomach hit the floor.
