Chapter 23

"Everything okay?" Cameron asked me

"No" I replied and he gestured for me to continue "I'm filling in for hayes this Magcon and I don't want to perform and my sisters off with Taylor and-" cam cut me off by putting his hand over my mouth.

"Taylor it's going to be fine, aren't you and shawn like amazing together?" He asked then added, "at singing, I mean"

I laughed "no he's amazing" I said

"At singing?" He asked

"Maybe" I said and winked

"I'm going to have to kill Shawn" he said and took a step toward the door.

I put my hand on his chest to stop him and laughed "yes, yes at singing" I said

Cameron laughed too, "see everything's alright. Even if you mess up tomorrow, we will all still love you the same and you'll still have the most beautiful smile I've ever seen" he said and poked my nose.

I smiled again "okay yeah" I said and rolled my eyes playfully.

He chuckled, "theres 2 beds in here but it was so cold last night I put all the blankets on that bed" he said pointing to the bed piled in blankets. "So you can sleep in that bed with me or I can put blankets on the other bed." He said and looked down.

"I'll sleep in that bed with you" I said pointing to the bed piled with blankets.

"Really?" He asked

"Yes" I said and laughed once

He stood there awkwardly for a second, as if not knowing what to do. I know I took him off guard by coming to him, but I feel so safe with Cameron even if he did kiss that girl. I don't know if I believe it was just a fan but Cam is so sweet to me, I just hope he doesn't make me regret it.

I laughed again and hugged him tight. He instantly relaxed and wrapped his arms around me. We both let go and he looked at me, " come on let's get some sleep"

I nodded and we climbed in bed. Even though Cam didn't touch me all night, I felt so safe in the bed with him.

I woke up to the blaring alarm clock. "Wake up sleeping beauty" cam said in his deep morning voice that gave me the chills.

"No" I groaned and rolled over

"Come on aren't you excited to perform?" He asked and I smacked him in the chest

"Shut up" I laughed and wiped my eyes. I rolled over to check my phone to see I have a message from jack and shawn

From Jack: 'did you get back to the hotel safely?'

I ignored him

From shawn: 'come by my room before the show and we can rehearse'

I decided to reply to shawn I wrote: 'alright I'm coming now'

"Shawn wants me to go to his room to practice." I told cam "and it's probably best they don't know we stayed together last night"

"Yeah I'll see you at the event" he said and leaned in. We kissed and I got up and walked out of the room. Once I got out in the hallway I placed my fingers on my tingling lips. What is this boy doing to me?
