I still remember the first day I saw you
You asked me how i feel
You asked me if im okay
You asked me certain things

It was that time
When I believed in love at first sight
When I believed I was falling again
When I concluded you were the one

But on a shitty day,
I found out the fucking truth
The truth that ended all my bitchy conclusions
The truth that ended all my impossible dreams

But despite it,
You still chose to be my friend
You still chose to stay by my side
You didn't distant yourself from me

I knew it
You were different from others
You were one if a kind
You were the only one

The only one who I loved
The only one who broke my heart this way
The only one who fixed me
The only one who takes care of me

The only one who let me out of my cage
The only one who loves me the way others didnt
The only one who I felt safeness and security
The only one who fixed my broken heart by staying by my side despite all you've known

I still dont know how to thank you
Should I just let you free
Should I just let you be happy
Should I just let you do whatever you want

But I dont want to hold you that tight
I might cause you harm for holding too tight
I might choke you in my ways of protecting you
I dont want to lose you so I just let things happen the way it will

The things that made me your prisoner
The things that made me feel like we're more than just "friends"
The things that made me feel secure
I might lose it one day so i just let things happen
