Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

When I got home I waited for my sister Victoria. She's usually home by now. As a sister I should be worried, but she's probably out with her friends and it's only three, she should be home soon.

Right now I was in search of an outfit for the party. Andy is suppose to pick me up at 8.

After a good 30 minutes of searching I went with a dark blue dress that was tight at the waist then fell loosely stopping at mid thighs. I decided to pair my dress up with my black vans. It'll have to do. Might as well dress comfortable.

I looked at the clock and it read 6:30. Where is Victoria I thought to myself. I picked up my phone to call her. After 3 rings she picked up.

"Vicky where are you?" I asked.

"Oh shoot! Sorry Riley I probably should've called, I'm with Jen right now."

I let out a sigh of relief

"Ok well do you plan on coming home anytime soon?"

"Why, is everything ok?" She asked.

"Yes everything's fine. I just got worried. It's 6:30 and my little sister isn't home from school yet."

"Oh come on Ry, I'm 15 I can handle myself."

"Whatever Vic, are you coming home or not?"

"Ya I should be home at 10."

"Ok. I'll be out with Andy so don't wait up."

"Where are you going?"

"Places little sis places. Be careful please! Jen can sleep over if she wants. Don't break down the house! call or text me if anything goes wrong. I will see you in the morning. Night, I love you."

"But Riley you haven't even-"

I clicked the end button already knowing what Victoria was about to ask me. I don't feel like playing 21 questions with her at this moment.

An hour later I stood in front of my full length mirror in my dark blue dress and my black vans.

I feel satisfied with the way I look.

My curly hair was straightened and I had a thin layer of makeup on. I smiled to myself feeling accomplished with my look.

To tie verything up I threw on my leather jacket. I gave myself an over view before going downstairs to wait for Andy.

The minute I got downstairs there was a knock at the door. I grabbed my small black purse and made my way towards the door.

"Ready!" I stopped right on my tracks once realizing who was standing at my door.

"Wait, where's Andy?"

"Hi Riley long time no chat, I'm fine thanks for asking." I laughed at Faiths comment.

"Sorry faith, I'm just shocked to see you" I pulled my friend in for a hug.

"To answer your question from before Andy was too lazy to come and get you, so she had me go and she thought it would be a nice surprise."

I looked down feeling bad. Faith, Andy and I were like the 3 Musketeers until Faith had to switch schools. Since she lived so far away we didn't talk or hang out as much.

To be completely honest I missed her.

Faith has short black hair and bright green eyes that just popped out at you, she was kind of short but she was in heals which made her come up to my nose. Least to say she's stunning. "Sorry faith I honestly missed you! Just feeling a bit shaky about this party, I basically got forced into coming." She laughed, "Yeah, Andy has that affect on people" she said while opening the passengers door and getting in.
