It's been about a month since Christian and I joined Fairy Tail and I'm loving it here. Everyone is so kind. There's never a dull moment. Wendy and I are kind of recognized as a duo or a tag team of sorts since we always go on quests and hang out together.
Today I'm needing to go pick up some things from various stores. I don't want to invite Wendy because I plan on getting her something special. Speaking of Wendy here she comes.
"Hey YN" She greeted with a smile.
"Hi Wendy how are you today?" I asked .
"I'm good. How are you?" she replied.
"I'm good. I just need to go pick up some stuff." I said hoping she won't ask to join.
"Sounds fun. Can I join you?" She asked much to my dismay.
"Actually. I was kinda wanting to go alone." I answered hoping I wouldn't make her sad.
She did look sad at first, but then she smirked. She then put her head down and I was worried I did upset her.
"Wendy?" I called trying to get her to look up.
When she did look up, I swear my heart stopped. She was giving me the puppy eyes. She knew that was my weakness. I tried my best to resist, but in the end I put my head down in defeat.
" Alright." I said with my head still down.
"Yay! Thanks YN!" She said with that big smile of hers.
I couldn't help but smile. Recently I've been getting this strange fuzzy feeling when I'm around Wendy. I don't know why.
"Well. Let's get going" I said to Wendy who nodded in response.

"Ok the first place I need to stop at is right up ahead." I said pointing to the store with two dragon statues outside
"Alright" Wendy said to me.
As if my body acted on its own, I reached out and held Wendy's hand. Wendy surprised by my action looked at our hands then at me. I blushed and removed my hand.
"S-sorry. I didn't realize what I was doing" I apologized before looking away to hide the blush on my cheeks.
"You don't need to apologize YN" Wendy said giggling at my reaction.
She then surprised me by grabbing my hand. When she did that fuzzy feeling I get around her returned.
When we got to the store, the owner recognized me and went to grab my order. He came back with a bag that was tied up. I thanked him and gave him the money.
"What's in the bag YN?" Wendy asked looking at me.
"Etherion crystals. They're what I eat to restore my magic." I answered.
The next stop was just to buy some chicken for Christian. After about five more minutes of walking I found the store I was looking for to get Wendy a gift.
"Hey Wendy. Can you wait out here while I'm in the store." Io asked.
"Sure." She answered as I walked in.
When I entered the store I looked around for a bit before finding what I was looking for. I showed the cashier what I wanted, said who it was for and asked how much it cost. He smiled at me and said it's on the house. I thanked him and exited the store.
When I got outside I saw Wendy talking to a girl with red hair. They looked like good friends. When I approached them, Wendy turned to me with a smile.
"Hey, YN meet my friend, Chelia" Wendy said with excitement.
"Hello. It's nice to meet you. I'm YN LN" I said reaching my hand out for her to shake.
"It's nice to meet you too. My name is Chelia Blendy." She said as she shook my hand.
"Well it was nice seeing you Wendy, but I've got to get back to my guild. See you two later." Sherria said before running off.
"She was nice" I said which caused Wendy to smile
"Yeah. We met during a tournament. We were opponents and the fight ended in a draw. After the fight we became friends." She said causing me to smile.
"Hey Wendy. I got you something." I said getting her attention.
"Really? What is it?" She asked tilting her head to the side.
"Close your eyes" I said to her.
After she closed her eyes. I took out the item I got from that store and tied it around her neck.
Wendy's pov
"Alright. You can open your eyes now." YN said to me.
When I opened my eyes, I looked down and saw what he got me. Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked at the necklace around my neck.

"Wendy? Why are you crying?" YN asked me with a look of concern.
I hugged him as tight as I could. This is the nicest thing anyone has ever gotten me.
"It's beautiful YN. Thank you" I said as I felt him hug me back.
"There's no need to thank me"
AN: This will be the last time I update this story on a day to day basis. As much as I enjoy writing this story, if I keep updating it every day I'm going to run out of ideas. From now on I'll only be updating it once a week. Thank you for your understanding
