Cooking with YN/Payback Time

YN's pov

I figured out how I'm going to get Christian back for his little dare. He is a total wimp when it comes to spicy food, so I'm going to prepare a ghost chile pepper sauce and serve it with his chicken.

I started by chopping up six ghost chiles. People normally remove the seeds to cut back on the burn, but I left them in.

After I got the peppers chopped up, I chopped up two tomatoes and diced one small onion.

With the veggies prepared, I heated up one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and added the chopped ghost chiles and diced onion.

After giving the peppers and onion a stir, I added the tomatoes and let that cook for about ten minutes.

After ten minutes, I added two tablespoons of red wine vinegar, one teaspoon of salt, and half a cup of water. I let that simmer for about twenty minutes.

After twenty minutes, i transferred everything to a food processor and processed it until smooth. When it was nice and smooth, i poured it into a bottle and placed it in the fridge.

"Let's see how Christian likes the sauce" I said to myself as I waited for my friend to show up.

Timeskip

"Christian come on pal. It's time for dinner" I called to my friend.

"I'm on my way" he responded.

As he came down, I poured the bowl for him to either dip his chicken into or pour over the entire thing.

"What's this?" Christian asked picking up the sauce.

"A homemade sauce. I thought you might like some variety." I answered trying not to smirk.

"Awesome" he said before digging in.

He dipped a chicken wing into the sauce and took a bite. Two minutes later his entire face was red and he was sweating a lot.

"Good god!! What was in that sauce?! My mouth is on fire!" he asked as I suppressed my laughter.

"Oh. Just some ghost chile peppers" I answered.

He instantly jumped up and ran to grab the milk from the fridge. I finally decided to burst into laughter. I saw him come back with an entire gallon of milk.

"What the heck dude?" he asked before taking another sip of milk.

"Consider this payback for your little dare the other night?" I explained.

To my surprise, he smirked after I said that. I raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Would you have preferred me to dare her to kiss you on the lips?" he asked causing me to turn crimson red.

"Christian!!!" I shouted as he started laughing.

"Sorry, but this is the first time you've been close enough to someone to develop feelings for them. It's only natural that I started teasing you. I'll tell you what I'll stop teasing you from here on." Christian said extending his hand for me to shake.

I gladly shook his hand. After we both ate, we decided to head to bed early since we didn't have anything else to do.

AN: Call me weird if you want but I've always been a fan of cooking shows like you see on the food network. So I decided to use that in your payback against Christian.
