Got no idea how it even happened
It just did.Should've have been stronger, you said.
Fighting demons? No. It's very tiring.
To succumb and feed them? Better.
Yes, to give up is easier.Like a thief in the night it came
Leaving you scarred, broken, empty.
Like a drug it slowly crept into your system.
Swallowing you whole into the darkness.Until one gloomy, rayless day
A stranger faced you in the mirror.
You smile. It frowns.
You cry. It laughes.They got me, you said.
