Jasmines PoV

I walk into Aaliyah's room embarrassed about what had just happened. God, why me?

"Jasmine"aaliyah squeals.

"Uh hey" I say sitting on her bed.

"I'm so sorry for walking in on you two, I didn't know" she apologises.

"No you don't need to apologise silly. You didn't know" I explain.

"I'm still sorry! Anyway after I left... anything happen?" She asks.

"Nearly" I say.

"What do you mean, nearly?" She says confused.

"Well he leaned in and then your mom walked in" I cringe.

"Yikes I'm sorry" she says.

"It's okay" I laugh.

"When you guys are official, you'll have plenty of time to make out" she jokes.

"I doubt it'll happen" I say.

"Stop saying that have some hope, will you" she says.

"I'm sorry it's just that... actually forget it"

"You've bought it up now tell me" She demands.

"Okay, uh it's just that I really like shawn and to think that he'll never ask me breaks my heart" I frown.

She sits on the bed beside me "Jasmine, of course he'll ask you. He's just being a jerk about it and taking his time. Trust me, he'll ask soon" She reassures me.

"Thanks Aaliyah, you're the best 14 year old ever" I laugh.

"I get that a lot, now go to his room" she says pushing me out the room.

I walk slowly into his room and see him sitting on his bed staring into space.

I sit next to him waiting for him to notice me.

"Everything okay?" I ask.

"To be honest with you, No. everything is messed up" he confesses.

"Maybe I can help" I suggest.

"Uh There's this girl and I like her a lot but I'm scared to ask her out just in case she rejects me and it breaks our friendship."He says.

"Well,I think you should just ask her and if she rejects you then you're too good for her" I smile.

"I guess your right" he smiles back.

"So, Care to tell me who this girl is?" I ask curious.

"Yeh, I'll introduce you to her" he says getting off his bed.

"Where are we going?" I ask following him down the stairs.

"To the girls house" He says slipping his trainers on.

Was he actually serious? When I meet this girl I'll be so heartbroken and humiliated.

Shawn POV

I take jasmine to my car to take her to the girls houses.

She steps inside the car and I quickly start driving.

"Do I know this girl?" She asks.

"Kinda." I shrug.

"Oh, uh where's her house?" She asks.

"It's around 45 mins away" I say.

"You might wanna go to sleep or something, cuz it's gonna take a while. I'll wake you when we get there" I instruct.
