The Legend of The Literature Club

I leave the classroom with all my stuff after the last bell had rung. I was ready to just go home but then I notice Negenama running towards me. I stop and wait on her.

"Hey Hakuoh! I found out more about the club!" she exclaims, out of breath.

"How? It's only been four hours!"

"Talking to teachers of cour-"

"YOU DID WHAT?!" I yell.

"Don't worry class wasn't in session and they actually didn't mind talking about it for some reason.. I found out where the club room is!"

"Wait..really?" I ask, intrigued.

"Mhm! It's on the part of the school that only the juniors use."

"That's strange, I thought you said they were seniors."

"They are! They just had to use a room in that hall."

"Ohh"

Negenama nods and suggests we go there. I wanted to refuse but something in me just couldn't. We head to that part of the school and eventually reach the club room.

"B13, I'll remember that" I say, not knowing if I am speaking to her, myself, or something else.

Negenama pulls out her phone and snaps a picture of the door, probably just in case I forgot.

"Should we go in?" she asks.

"I think we should gather a little more information before entering."

"Ah alright, well I'm gonna go home, bye Hakuoh!" she happily exclaims before waving goodbye to me.

"Oh, bye Negenama." I wave to her and just like that, she leaves.

I take a glance at the inside of the club room through a window. It looks like a normal classroom, no one would ever suspect anything bad happened. Temptation to enter begins to rise but I fight it. After standing in front of the door for a few more minutes I leave and head home. I walk to my house, not living too far from the school. As soon as I enter the house I head to my room, not even bothering to speak with my parents. I set my things down and pull out my folder that contained the homework for the day. Eventually I finish the homework and put it back into my folder. I pull out my laptop and search the name of my school with the year "2017" following. I click on "News" and sure enough there are headlines about the incident. I click on an article with the title "Tragedy at Toshina High School: 3 female students found dead".  I begin to read, shocked at the information right in front of me.

"I have to tell Negenama about this." I say to myself before checking my phone.

Huh? That's strange. As I unlock my phone I notice I have twenty unread messages. I open the messaging app to find that I've been put in a group chat with Negenama and three others.

"Um.. Hello?" I text.

Negenama replies almost instantly "Hakuoh! These are my friends who are also interested in that legend!"

She has got to be kidding, I don't want a full investigation group! God, this girl is gong to be the 

d̡̝͉̺͓͌̔̃̀̈̀͗̿ē̦̪͓̯̱͂̒̎̌͝͝ͅa̶̧̱̠͖̝͚͐͛̆̎̋̇t̠͓̜̰̦̹͇̿̀̓̐̔̽͘h͚̮̗̭̗̝̱͓͇̀̇̋̈́̒̈́̃͗̒͟ o͔͙̩̟̺̗̾̏̎͒͘͢͝͝f̧̖̼̳̉͗̐̍̊̔͢͝ ḿ̷̧̩̜͙͖̉̆̌̋̇̕͟ę̭̠̲̬̳̐̓̐̓͌̂͘.  

"Um.. Hi, my name is Chloe"

"I'm Aki"

"And I'm Cole" 

"Oh hi.. as you all know my Name is Hakuoh.."

I add the numbers into my contacts, knowing I will meet them in person later. The five of us all chat for a bit until I'm called to dinner by my father. I put my phone down and head to the table where I see my parents awaiting my arrival. I talk with them while eating my meal, not bringing up the whole literature club thing. I finish my plate and place my dish in the sink before heading back into my room. I do everything I needed to do for the afternoon, like taking a bath, and head to bed. Exhausted, I turn off my lights and flop onto the bed, pulling the sheets over me. I close my eyes, wondering what tomorrow may hold, and fall asleep.
