Luke and Kodi have been together for roughly a month. They spend their time usually going out late at night, smoking, or fucking. Today they found themselves lying on a couch in the back of a coffee shop.

“Luke?” Kodi murmured.

“Yeah?” Luke answered. His fingers were drawing patterns on her skin and his mouth was pressed to her neck.

“I want to something kind of crazy. Kind of dangerous.” At her words, he shifted better to see her face.

 “What are you thinking exactly?”

  “I’m not sure. Anything in mind?” Luke smiled a bit.

   “I think I know just the thing.”

A couple days later Luke called Kodi telling her to be ready in 15 minutes and to wear all black. Kodi was very curious at what Luke had planned. She dressed quickly and lit a blunt to pass the remaining time. 20 minutes later there was a knock at her door. She slowly went and answered, revealing Luke at the other side. Dressed in black from head to toe, he took her in. He nodded approvingly at her choice of clothing and then grabbed the blunt from her hand immediately putting it between his lips.

“I don’t get a kiss?” She pouted. He smiled and leaned in pressing his lips to hers. He lazily wrapped one of his arms around her waist; his other arm rose up, still holding the blunt. She strung her hands through his hair, pulling and grabbing. Luke pulled away and smiled.

“Big plans today.” He pushed his way inside and kicked the door closed. Kodi stood there anxiously awaiting the news of today’s plans. After taking another drag and blowing out smoke, Luke spoke.

“We’re going to rob a small convenience store.” He was blunt and assertive. Kodi’s eyes widened.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” She exclaimed. Luke paused.

“I’m serious, Kodi.”

“Hold on a sec.” Kodi ran to the kitchen grabbing two bottles of wine and quickly opened them. Then she returned to Luke and handed him one bottle. “Now tell me what we’re doing again.”

“We’re… going to rob a convenience store.” Kodi took a giant swig from the bottle. After swallowing she looked at Luke.

“Hell yeah let’s do this.” Luke grinned full on and took a drink from the bottle. Then he kissed her again. And again. And again.

After getting semi drunk they embarked on their journey. Apparently Luke has done this multiple times. He used to rob stores with his two friends when they were still close. But after a falling out, they barely talk anymore. Kodi wanted to know more but Luke wouldn’t tell. And she let it go, for now.

Walking out of Kodi’s apartment, Luke led them to a car. Sitting in the front seat of the car was a man. Kodi had never seen him before.

“That’s Calum. He’s my best friend.” Kodi nodded. She realized that she barely knows anything about Luke. Granted, he barely knows anything about her. Their relationship was built on sex and drugs.

They climbed in the car. This car had 3 seats in the front so Kodi sat in between Luke and Calum.

“Hey I’m Calum.” He smiled at her.

“Kodi.”

“And I’m Luke; let’s get this show on the road!” Luke put his fists in the air. Then he leaned over and attacked Kodi’s face and neck with kisses.

“Not in front of minors, Luke. Jesus.” Kodi exclaimed, winking at Calum.

“Sorry I just can’t help myself around you.”

“Damn right.” Calum scoffed. Luke reached over and hit him on the head.

“Just drive.” Kodi laughed at their relationship. She could see that they’ve known each other for a while now; just by the way they interacted with each other. Calum drove for a bit. No one spoke but Fall Out Boy came from the speakers. Kodi rested her head on Luke’s shoulder and just kept her eyes closed. Luke wrapped an arm around her waist and squeezed. Today should be interesting.
