*Luke's POV*
I watch El as she sleeps. She has had a rough last two days. I've only known her for about two days and I already want to protect her from everything; she has been through enough. Mac told us what happened to El's brother and how she had a complete breakdown.
I was taken out of my train of thought when I heard loud, painful scream: Eleanor. I raced over to her and hugged her once I realized that she was still asleep. I slowly rocked back and forth whispering that things would be okay in her ear. I finally got her to wake up, but she kept crying.
I laid her down and I let her rest on my chest and i ran my fingers through her hair as she cried. About ten minutes later, I finally got her to stop crying as she laid there silently staring at nothung.
"I relived that day. The day that I found out I would never see my brother again.The day reality hit me." El said softly. I sat there not knowing what to say. I really wish that I could take all the pain off of her. I always thought my life was difficult, but i couldn't be more wrong. I mean, yeah, everyone has their problems with their life and some are worse than others, but everyone has the right top be upset.
"Eleanor, I will help you get through this. I promise, to be by your side every dtep of the way. I will never let you do this alone. I may go back to Australia in two or three year, but I will pack you in my bag. I am never leaving you. EVER." I said whole heartedly.
MAC'S P.O.V
I sat there in the hospital hall trying to breath. This is the second time this has happened to El. I feel so horrible about that I didn't really help her that much about her brother. I walk up and start to walk towards her room.
"Ma'am you can't go in there, only family" the nurse said putting her hands on my chest.
"First will you please get your hands off my chest, and second I am family." I said walking right past her . I walk in her room to see Luke holding her hand. She just stared at the ceiling looking like she wanted to die.
"Hi," I said sniffling rubbing my nose.
"Hi," she said smiling. She sat up against the frame of the hospital bed.
"Do you need anything? It's been two days, you have to be tired of this hospital food" I said smiling.
"Starbucks" she said smiling "Iced Carmel coffee" she said giggling a little. I held onto my nude purse.
"Okay,"I said with tears coming down even though I was giggling
"Okay," she said smiling
"Maybe okay can be our always" I said laughing rubbing my shoulders
"Maybe" she said smiling. I love it when she smiles. Her smile lights up the world. She's more than my best friend. She's my sister.
I walked out of the room with little tears in my eyes. "Calum we have to go get El some Starbucks" I say taking his hand. "Ok sure" he said walking with me
.....
We walked into Starbucks and grabbed our coffees. "Did Michael or Luke want anything?" I asked getting into the car.
"I don't know" he said all adorable. Calum is the cutest thing here. He's like a little puppy. "Oh shit" Calum said looking at his phone."
"What?" I asked driving.
"Go to game stop I have to get the new FIFA game!" He said whining.
"Gosh, you and Eleanor with y'all's FIFA will be the death of me, I swear!" I said slightly giggling, "but you have to be quick El can be an ass if she doesn't have her Starbucks." He just nodded.
*At GameStop*
"I'll go look around while I find the game." Calum said as he walked off to look for the game. As I looked around the store, I ran into a very cute guy. He was tall about 6'2"ish with blonde curlish hair. He had the cutest little smile and his eyes oh his eyes!
"oh, umm, I'm sorry" he said blushing looking at the ground
"It's totally fine" I said smiling, "hi I'm McKenna call me Mac."
"Nice to meet you Mac, I'm Ashton you can call me Ashton." he said laughing a little. I nodded slightly looking fro calum,
"Mac, are you ready to go? I found the game." Calum called as he walked towards me.
"Calum?" Ashton said suprised.
"Ashton?" Calum said back in just as much shock. They gave each other a man hug thingy.
"When you said you were going to be an exchange student I didn't know you too were going to be in LA."
"I didn't either!" Calum giggled, "but we have to head out. We need to hang out sometime. I'll give you my new number." Calum then told Ashton his number and we left to head to The hospital.
