Luke's POV

" What?! Why are you all staring at me like that!" I looked over at Michael, a look of devastation had completely taken over his face.

"Mike? What's wrong man talk to me!"

As I scanned the rest of the stage I'd come to the realization that everyone's face was equally as disturbed as Michael's. What's happening? I thought to myself.

I traced their gaze with my eyes to find that they weren't staring at me, they were staring at whatever's beside me. Trembling, expected to be met with a thug holding me at gunpoint, I was met with worse, the sight of something I could hardly comprehend.

My own body. Lying there. In a pool of my own blood.

"Hey guys," I said frantically, "Th-This isn't funny anymore what's going on."

Then it all came back to me faster than I'd desired.

We were playing our newest song and... There were gunshots. Wrapped up in my own thoughts I'd let out an escaping gasp. Was this real?

I couldn't bring myself to fathom the fact that I was staring at my own body.

Was I dead? Was this a dream? Was I ima-

My own thoughts were cut of when I was snapped back into reality. I heard a distinctive sound coming from beside me. Slowly, I twisted my head to be met with something I can only describe as mortifying.

The light.

Ajah's POV

Sounds of horrific gasps and screams filled the room. Crowds and crowds gathered around the stage. I figured this was my chance to go.

"Andy!" I screamed "Alexis!"

I prayed and I prayed nothing had happened to either of them. I began pushing everyone in sight out of my way I kept yelling their names.

"Alexis! Alexis!" I found myself becoming hysterical. "Andy!!" I screamed until I felt my throat burn.

I screeched when I felt a tight grip on my elbow.

"Let me go! Please!" I shrieked

"Ajah, it's me." I was relieved when I was met to see alexis holding Andy's arm behind her. He seemed to be astonished at what he'd just witnessed.

" Don't scare me like that!" I snapped.

I was so afraid I'd lost them. Gunshots could mean anything, and I was still puzzled as to what happened.

Alexis guided me to the tail of the almost endless crowd. I was hoping for an explanation of what was going on, but she just kept moving.

"Wait!" I called out, " What's wrong?! Why is everyone acting so crazy?!"

She darted her eyes at me as she furrowed her eyebrows.

"The lead singer was shot." She said rather bluntly. I heard sirens approaching and we sat for what had seemed forever

"Keep moving dude. I don't want to be caught at a murder scene." She snapped. I did as she said without question, I didn't want to be caught there either.

Luke's POV

I had always heard of 'the light' in stories and movies and it was constantly associated with the advice to "follow it."

Go! My conscience kept advising me. But I was hesitant. I still was trying to put this all together it was happening all too quickly.

I inhaled and exhaled slowly, the light's rays were all too bright to bare and it began burning my eyes. Suddenly I felt I was being lifted, until I was met with complete darkness.

When I was met with my eye sight I found myself surrounded by rows and rows of guitars. Each signed by fallen legends. Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley Ronnie montrose, the list goes on and on. I felt like a toddler in a candy shop. Until I was smacked with my reality once again and I became suspicious. I scanned the room until I saw a dark figure in the distance.

It must've felt my notice because it became closer and closer. Each inch forcing my heart to beat harder, faster. I felt frozen. I couldn't run or even move for that matter. Then, it all came to a halt.

Suddenly the room was bright.

"State your name and time of death please."

I was completely confused as I stared into the blue eyes of a short pale woman, slightly pudgy, holding a clip board.

"State your name and time of death please!" She restated, growing irritated.

I parted my lips to speak but no words could escape my mouth. At a loss for words I bit my bottom lip, feeling my lip ring clank against the back of my front tooth.

"HELLO?! Sir!" She yelled. Finally I could make out the words to say, "L-Lucas Robert Hemmings." I said more soft than I'd expected. "And time of death?" She questioned.

"What?" I responded unbelievably.

"Time of death?" She looked up at me uneasily. Once again, no words.

Where am I? I thought to myself. I hadn't come to the realization of what had just occurred and I wasn't ready to either.

"Anthony!" The woman called facing the other direction, "Take this one to Brian, I don't think he knows yet!" All too quickly I heard a snap louder than any I'd ever heard, and with that snap I felt myself moving at what felt like the speed of light. Until I came to a stop.

" You're dead." I heard a voice call.
