Minus 3- Forgotten

When I was a little girl, I was told I could do anything... And I believed it...
But now that I lived a little bit more, I learned that's not true.
We are expected to find a job and sit there doing it... And stick to it...
We are expected to be a little social, have a little moment of success, of glory, and find a lover.
But I never wanted any of that... I soon realized that what I wanted to do, was changing the world, forever, I wanted to leave a mark that wouldn't be forgotten... But then I realized that was impossible too... However, I had one person who told me that it was possible, I don't believe it, but she's always right so we'll see that...
My problem is that the world forgets everything... Passes by things too fast... In one minute it matters and in the other is just rubbish... We listen to this inspiring speaches and promise a change and promise ourselves that we'll never forget that, but the truth is that it never happens...
Humanity is domed by the memory or lack of it... We forget everything that matters, we forgot what extreme people have done to minorities... We forgot what the Greek taught us... We forgot to be kind and give a chance to others like we were supposedly taught when we were Young.
We forget what matters all the time... We forget our happiness, our meaning and authenticity!
We forget to value the difference... And that's awful because standarts make society and humanity forget what we were suppose to remember everyday.
