Tourney Rules

The Greymeyer Battlegrounds was a sight to behold.Suspended above a simply bottomless, black pit the size and length of two football fields, the Battlegrounds was a smooth, flat structure that had the appearance of a grass-covered island of stone and earth. Thus far 21 of the 24 Combatants and their Trainers stood on top of the structure, awaiting the others that remains inside the inner confines of the overall Arena.
One Trainer with dark purple skin and a well-muscled physique is looking beyond the metallic Bridge that offer safe passage from the isolated Battlegrounds to the large doors that lead to the
Inner rooms.

He was a very oridinary-looking Hue Man- standing at modest 6 feet, and clad in a plain blue t-shirt with black jeans and black sneakers, he held the appearance of a gruff-looking fitness coach. (which, given his status as Trainer, is quite fitting.)
Despite  his harsh, lightly- bearded face, he seems openly anxious for the reunion with his Trainee.
It's been almost 5 minutes since the Proprietor of this Tourney have launched his announcement and he doesn't want them to get disqualified due to tardiness. His fears was eventually put to rest, however, when his small, muscular Trainee- an Angelic, hollow-eyed Monster- entered from the Inner Arena doors and walked across the Bridge alongside a tall, slim Lizardman and a stout, pot-bellied Pigman.
The Trainee met their Trainer with a heartfelt hug that wrapped around the Hue Man, which the stern-faced fellow responded in kind.

"Hello, Father," they says with a warm smile.

"Hello, Soul," the Trainer replied, affably stroking the Monster's thick, wooly gray hair."How was the Confession Stand?Did it strike your fancy?"

"Yes," Soul says with a quick nod."I greatly enjoyed almost all the food they had to offer.
My favorite would have to be their mozarella cheesesticks."

The Trainer shook his head in a light-hearted display of expectation.

"Of course.Don't eating those things get old?"

The Monster giggled and shook their own head in refusal.

"Heh heh heh!Noooo. They are truly wonderful in my opinion, no matter how many times I eat them."

"Well, my disdain for cheesesticks aside, I'm happy you enjoyed yourself."

The severity of the man's face grew in intensity as he adds,

"Did anyone bother you while you were in the Confession Stand?"

Soul stopped smiling and held a very solemn expression that told their Father much all ready- someone have.

"Yes," the Angelic Creature confessed without hesitation, "though they have not attempted to physically harm me.She is named Claudia and she means to 'expose' me for being a lifeless 'Husk', as she puts it."

"Claudia..." The man looked toward the direction of a vicious-looking Cyclopes woman with long wavy dark blue hair and a longsword strapped to her back, who was speaking with her bulky Cyclopes Trainer with a hushed but heated voice.

"I know of her.She won 5 Mid-Power Tournaments before she made it here.
Why she would try to bully you?Haven't she seen your Power Stats?"

Soul nods as they folded their arms in a firm, yet calm fashion.

"Yes- that is in fact the very reason she has...uh...'bullied' me.
I have made her upset due to the fact that I have not entered in any Tournaments prior to being allowed entry into this one.I merely revealed to the Proprietor what I was capable of, and he allowed me the opportunity to enter the Tournament."

The Angelic Monster frowned with melancholy- rich uncertainty.

"I am beginning to have doubts that I should have entered the Tournament to begin with."
