Chapter 8: Sadness

I found Jungkook at a park close to the school. I was in tears and I couldn't stop them from flowing out. I ran over to him and gave him a hug, but he pushed me away. "Stop," He almost yelled at me. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad if I did," I tried my best to be calm. "Go back to Taehyung and leave me alone," He said plainly. "I have to tell you something first," I told him. "What?" He sounded annoyed. "I love you and no one else and after you get over this I have to tell you something really bad, after we get over this obstacle," I told him. "What is really bad?" He asked. "My friend's mom wants to arrange a marriage with Kai and I after high school and she wanted to know my opinion first but I ran up to the roof to cry alone, but Taehyung was there and saw me crying, and he tried to comfort me," I told him. He wasn't listening to me and he walked away from me. I cried and cried because he didn't listen.

"I love you..." I whispered. I fell down on to my knees and missed the whole day of school. I walked into the school and went to my locker to get my stuff. I walked all the way home and cried. 

When I got home I ran up to my room and fell on the bed and cried.

"Raelyn what's wrong?" Ian asked worriedly. 

"Nothing," I replied.

"Tell me I won't tell anyone," he promised. 

"J-J-Jungkook won't listen to me when-" I tried to explain.

"Raelyn, Ian, get down here!" Mom yelled.

"I'll buy you some time, just try to fix up a bit," he told me.

He went downstairs and I cleaned up before going downstairs.

"Yeah mom?" I asked as calmly as I could.

"Kai came over to see you guys and talk about things that are going on right now," she explained.

Kai came up to me and gave me a hug. I hugged back and started crying silently. He pat my head as I cried in his arms.

"Let's go to your room Rae," he whispered to me. I just nodded in response.

We walked upstairs and we went into my bedroom.

"What's wrong Rae?" He asked.

"Jungkook most likely broke up with me because he saw me hugging my cousin and I'm thinking he forgot that Taehyung is my cousin," I cried. He hugged me as I cried.

"I will kick his butt for you okay?" 

"Okay," I sobbed and nodded.

The next day

"Have you seen Jungkook?" Namjoon asked.

"No I haven't," I tried to hold back my tears and I was successful. "Excuse me," 

I walked to the bathroom and went into a stall and cried silently until the first bell rang. I wiped my tears and washed my face. I walked to my class to find Jungkook glaring at me. I just put my head down and walked to my seat.

"Raelyn I need to talk to you after class," Mrs. Choi told me.

"She looks down," a student stated.

"She probably broke up with Kai," another student replied.

"Mrs. Choi can I go to the restroom?" I asked.

"Go ahead," she responded.

I walked out and snuck a peak at Jungkook. He looked like he was about to have a breakdown.

"Rae are you okay?" Ian asked.

"Not really," I responded while crying.

"Sis, it's going to get better. I already requested Jungkook to see me and Kai on the roof," Ian reassured me.

"You don't have to do this Ian," I informed him.

"Yes I do he deserves it since he didn't see that you would never cheat on him even if your life depended on it," he insisted.

"I got to get back to class, bye Ian," 

"Bye sis,"

I walked back to class and I noticed that Jungkook wasn't there. I sat in my seat with my head down.

Lunch time 

I ran to the roof because I knew what would happen with Jungkook if he is here.

"Dude how dare you hurt my sister's feelings!" Ian exclaimed.

Ian punched him hard.

"Stop! This doesn't need to end in violence," I cried. I ran to protect Jungkook.

"Rae I'm sorry," Kai apologized. He pushed me out of the way. "He needs to get what he deserves. If he ever hurts you again I'll make sure to marry you to protect you from him."

"I hate you all, everything I do you all jump to conclusion that something bad is happening. Ian, you think that whenever I hug a guy that isn't related is my boyfriend which I hate it when you do. Kai, I tell you something sad and you want to punch the person that made me sad. Jungkook, you got jealous over a hug from another guy even if it is my COUSIN!" I pointed out angrily.
