Chapter 12

"So.... what are you doing?" I asked trying to ignore the elephant in the room.
" I'm about to train. Do you want me to train you?" Asked Matt, trying to force a smile.
" Well, you did say you would so it would make sense." I laughed.
" Ya, it would make sense." He said with an actual smile this time.
" I heard we're training Sophia." Said Thomas sneaking up on them. " You know Sophia, I'm a way better trainer than my brother. Why don't you let me train you." Thomas asked pulling a sword from his satchel. " Because she doesn't want to die. And Sophia? Said Matt pointing his sword at his brother. " I see you want to fight. Oh, brother you and your foolishness." Crackeled Thomas. " Sorry Sophia, I have to show my brother who's the stronger twin."
" Not a chance. Sophie don't worry this won't take long." Said Matt with his crooked grin that made Sophie blush.
"You're close except I will be the one who's going to win."
"Really, and why is that."
"Because I only need two hits. One when I punch you and two when you hit the floor." Thomas said with a wink at Sophie.
The boys fought for a while. Thomas tripped him at one point but Matt kicked his sword away from his hand and tackled him. But when Thomas, threw him Matt made a fire sword. " Hey, no powers, fight like a man." Said Thomas putting his sword away.
While Matt laughed and extinguished the fire his sword flew out of his hand. " Thomas, during a war you'll have to use your powers, you do know that right?" He asked while Ivy walked towards them with Lily behind her. " I know but I just wanted to make it a fair fight." Said Thomas.
" Right." She said with a raise of an eyebrow. "Hey, Thomas what is your power?" I asked. " Well, Sophia, I was granted the rarest of elements."
" No, you weren't, I was." Interrupted Matt while he chuckled.
" You have earth."
Thomas then jumped and put his hands on the floor making it rumble which led to Matt falling.
"Is that how you wanna play this?" Asked Matt with a wicked grin. After Thomas agreed, Matt started throwing fireballs at his brother, but Thomas quickly blocked them by turning his hand into stone. They battled for a few more minutes 'til Sophie got tired and drew clouds from afar and made them rain over the two brothers.
" We don't have time for this," she said stopping the rain. " think we should train because if I don't I'm sure ill blow this place up."
