*Stiles POV*

It's been a few days since the whole ghost in my house fiasco. I still haven't told anyone about it, not even my dad. No one knows about it except Scarlett and I wanna keep it like that. It's better for everyone anyways. I was gonna tell Scott but I don't wanna worry him. Besides today's his big date with Allison, I can't ruin that for him too.

As I lounge around in my room, lazily kicking my legs back and fourth on my bed, my mind continues to drift back to Scarlett. She was so calm back there when I was completely freaking out. Then the way she kissed me. She actually kissed me. I felt something, something I can't explain and I know deep down that she felt it too. How did she do that? It was like as if for one brief moment everything felt alright again. All the fear and pain was gone. And as crazy as it sounds, I want to feel that again. I want to see her.

Just then my phone rings, it's Scott. "Yo Scotty what's up?" I say easing my way into a sitting position. "Stiles, you know what today is right?"

I roll my eyes letting out a sigh, "Of course I do, did you really think I'd forget?"

Scott continues in a hurry, "Great because I need you to do me a favor, come with me on my date with Allison."

"Your date with Allison? Dude I can't do that!" I say, my voice rising in disbelief.

"Stiles, c'mon do it for me please?" Scott pleads, desperately waiting on the other end of the line.

"Scott no the last thing I wanna do is be a third wheel, ya know how awkward that's gonna be?"

"It won't be awkward I swear, besides you can invite Scarlett to come with you," Scott says. "It'll be fun I promise we're going rollerskating, you love skating!"

"Scott I really can't-" I begin but Scott cuts me off, "Great thanks your the best!" With that the phone clicks and I'm stuck to face the inevitable double date. For someone who can't skate this is gonna be one hell of a ride I guess. As I'm heading out the door I check my phone one last time debating whether or not call Scarlett, my finger hovers above her phone number, I'm tempted to call her and explain the scenario. But I pass. The last thing I want her to see is me falling flat on my ass, let alone my face. With that being said I grab my keys and head out the door to the roller rink.

After the short drive I arrive at the run down little rink, Scott and I always used to come here when we were younger but haven't been here since. I enter the red metal doors and slip into the dark, neon light illuminated rink. Loud pop music blares over the speakers as I begin searching for Scott. It's hard to see with all the people zipping around on their skates but I spot him and Allison sitting at a booth in the far corner, strapping their skates on. I squeeze my way past almost tripping into the booth.

"There ya are buddy, it's about time you got here!" Scott says cheerfully, his arm draped around Allison's shoulder. "We're about to go skate, you wanna join us?" Allison nods in agreement.

"Uhhh no, you know I can't skate that well..." I stutter rubbing the back of my neck.

"Stiles Stilinski can't skate?" A voice mockingly questions from behind, I turn around and it's her. My face turns bright red, I forgot she was gonna be here. "This I don't believe, not one bit." She laughs, her face lighting up with that cute smile of hers.

"Well believe me because its true," I answer sarcastically, taking a seat back into the booth. There's no way I'm making a fool out of myself here.

Scarlett steps right in front of me, arms folded across her chest."You didn't think I'd let you off that easy did ya?" She says tossing me a pair of skates. " I'll teach you if I have to now c'mon!" She slips her tiny hand into mine and yanks up onto my feet as we make our way out to the rink.
