•Angélica's POV•
I woke up and it's surprisingly quiet at my house. I get out of bed and go to the bathroom to shower.

I grab my makeup box and start to put on my makeup. After I did my makeup I put my hair into two french braids I also put on my glasses. My nails were already done from yesterday so I don't have have to paint them.

I go back to my room and see a bouquet of flowers on my bed. There was a note on it so of course I read it. "Angélica I know your probably expecting something from Erick right now but I'm your brother and I love you with all my heart. Have an amazing day today by the time you read this I will be out getting last minute things for Xitlalic. Next to your bed there should be a phone case from Erick. Happy Valentine's Day Ica!"
I smiled and looked at the small table on the other side of the bed near my guitar and say a black phone case with writing on it. I walk towards it and look at the phone case.

I feel myself smiling once again as I hear the door from my room slam open. I immediately turn red and look at the door. It's Xitlalic...why am I not surprised.
"ANGIE"
"you know you could've knocked or at least open the door softly what if I had my guitar there and you managed to break it." I point to the now scratched off paint mark on the wall.
She shrugs. "yea but you didn't have your guitar there so."
I was going to face palm myself when I realized this is the friend I have had for the past ten years. I made this decision and now I deal with the consequences. "anyway why are you here"
"well for one Erick told me to bring you this" she gave me a small velvet box. "and I got you this" she hands me another one.
We sit on my bed to open what she gave me. Before I opened it Xitlalic looks at the phone case. "is this and whatever I gave you the only thing Erick got you?"
"Xitlalic I've known Erick since I was two I'm pretty sure he has more planned and if he doesn't I'm fine with that. I always feel guilty when someone has the need to buy me things. Hey can you put the phone case on my phone." I hand her my phone and she swaps the phone cases and leaves my phone next to me.
I opened the second velvet box Xitlalic gave me which was from her and it was a key necklace that said friends. I look up at her and she has the other half that said best on it.
"aww thank you Xitlalic" I say as I give her a hug.
"your welcome"
"all I got you was this teddy bear" I say getting up giving her a teddy bear that was holding a red heart and it said the word "amiga".
"thank you angélica! Now open what Erick got you."
I laugh a little and open up the velvet box and inside was another necklace that had the letter E and it said " don't forget me"

"AWWW THAT'S SO CUTE" xitlalic says putting her hands on her cheeks while I turn really red.
"pero no te pongas rojita wey you're guys relationship is adorable" she says
I put on both necklaces and check my phone. I always put it on do not disturb at night so I can sleep without anyone bugging me. I saw I had a text from James J: hey happy valentines day! A: happy valentines day to you too! J: I'm assuming xitlalic is with you but just to make sure is she? A: yea why? J: I kinda need a favor from both of you J: can you guys bake heart cookies with writing on them I'm giving them to Emily I have other things I plan on giving her but I remember she said she loves the deserts you make. A: sure well do it you're lucky I love close by rite aid so I'll get the ingredients I don't have there E: thank you I'll pay you back later A: no you don't have to E: its fine it's the least I can do.
"welp lets walk to rite aid" I say getting up and grabbing my wallet, phone and keys.
"what why?"
"James wants us to bake cookies for his girlfriend and might as well by extra to bake for Erick and Joel"
