"erick estas bien?" she says looking at me weird "your looking a little paler than usual"

"uh sí, sí nomas remember when we were little and we made a promise that we would be there for eachother no matter what"

"yea" she says smiling remembering all the things we did when we were younger.

*flashback*
(angélica is 8, xitlalic is 9 & erick is 10)

"ow erick" angélica says as erick accidentally hit her arm

"I'm sorry princesa I was trying to hit xitlalic"

"hey! Anyway before erick actually does hurt me I have to go my mom is making tamales and you know I can't miss out on them" xitlalic says backing up

"SAVE ME ONE" erick & Angelica say at the same time

"I gotchu Angie erick your on your own" she leaves

"princesa promise me something" erick says grabbing her hands

"sí?"

"promise me that we will always have each others back be there for the other no matter what and if we ever fall in love we will stay together till the very end for us to get married and have kids together and grow old together"

"I remember we were rushing everything and we weren't even together we'll we never have been together but yea" she says blushing and looking down at her feet smiling. Angelica can do the littlest things and it will make me fall in love with her more and more

"well" I says giving her the flowers and hiding the guitar getting ready to play.

(let's just pretend Christopher wasn't there when he was singing)

"Angelica me enamore de ti cuando de vi por la primera vez eres mi mejor amiga y alquien que me enamore con look what I'm trying to say is Angelica I love you so much and I was hoping you would want to be my girlfriend it's fine if you don't want I understand if you don't feel the same way" I say looking down closing my trying to hold back the tears that might come out soon.

"erick?" she says as I look up at her "yo tambien me enamore de ti I have for a while I didn't realize how much I needed you since you left but not only as a friend but someone I wish would have the same feelings as me. So yes I will be your girlfriend" she says I smile like it's the only thing keeping me alive

"yo solo quiero darte un beso y regalarte mis mañanas, cantarte para calmar tus miedos quiero que no te falte nada" I sang while playing the guitar the song I showed her four years ago the first spanish song I taught her to know.

Angélica walks towards me and she wraps her arms around my neck. She takes the guitar strap off my shoulders. I look at her lips noticing how a pale pink they were I then look back her eyes her beautiful light brown eyes I consider them better than my green eyes I remember when were little she said it looked like someone had painted my eyes with water colors. She's always been beautiful and special to me she's even more beautiful without makeup if only she could look into my eyes and see what I see.

I then close the gap between us and kiss her. Her lips are soft and slightly plump, she kisses back brings me back to when we had our first kiss it was a goodbye kiss cause I wasn't sure if I were to make it in la banda and actually be in a band and if I did I thought I would never see her again.
