Chapter 1

A telephonic conversation, Winter 1954, Scotland.

"Sellisa! Where are you?"

"In the park, Duke!"

"Okay, just wait I'm coming."

"Fast, Duke! I've found something here."

"I can't see you, where are you?"

"Sellisa?"

"Sellisa! Reply!"

"Damn."

Year 1956, Paris.

A beautiful morning in Paris. Henry Lender & Alisa Lender with their two small cute children were unloading their luggage to their new home in Paris. They entered the house, and started exploring it. Phineas Lender, one of their kids said "Mom, can I go to wash my hands?", "Yes! Of course, Phineas." Alisa replied. Phineas ran through the groovy ways and found the washroom. He opened the tap. A red-colored water was coming out, Phineas enjoyed seeing it & washed his hands cheerfully. Phineas ran back to his Mom & said "Mom, towel?"

The moment Alisa looked at him, a diabolic scream came out from her! "Blood!!" Phineas' hands were colored with the deep red blood. Everyone was shocked to hear the shout & ran towards Phineas. Phineas got frightened by the shout. "What happened, Mom?" Phineas said. "From where you washed your hand! Phineas?" Alisa said being terrified. Phineas led his family to the washroom, Alisa opened the tap; nothing came out.

"Phineas, it's not that tap!" Alisa shouted at Phineas.

"No Mom! I'm seriously not lying at this moment. It is that tap only!" Phineas answered.

As Henry took this situation in a calm way, he said Alisa to calm down & leave this topic for the moment. He told her that everything's fine & good. Henry wiped out the red water from Phineas' hands. They all went back to the living room. Seeing the situation is calm now, Henry requested all to go out for a dinner after arranging all the things correctly in the house. They all agreed.

They went to a nearby restaurant, & enjoyed the dinner there. By 10 o'clock they came back. Everybody was tired & wanted to sleep. So, they went to their respected rooms, there were two adjacent rooms, one for Henry & Alisa & one for Phineas & Jason.

Another cheerful morning came up.

Henry went out for his new job in Paris, Alisa was taking care of the children meanwhile cooking the breakfast for them. The weather outside suddenly turned windy. Alisa said both the kids to close all the windows & doors so that dust doesn't comes in. Later on, in the early morning only, rain approached, it was pretty unobvious.

Phineas & Jason were playing in the house. Alisa cooked the breakfast for them & called them to have it. They started to come downstairs, while coming down Jason tripped & fell from the stairs. A mere scream came out of his mouth as he was in unbearable pain. Alisa heard it & ran towards him, she picked him up; carried him to his room & applied some medicine on his ankle.

"How did you fall, Jason?" Alisa asked.

"I think, something came into my way while I was running down, a hard thing, I don't know what that was but it hurt. Ouch!" He was not able to properly recognise that object as he fell without seeing it.

Alisa served the breakfast to them, in their room. Alisa went up to see what was there but she didn't know from where exactly Jason fell, she was not feeling as to ask him for that. So after 1 or 2 rounds of the 1st floor she came back down with no deduction.

Henry came back home.

Alisa served the dinner to Henry and sat in the next chair. The children were asleep. Alisa asked Henry about the blood incident. "Henry, why you left that blood incident unattended, it was a mysterious danger!" Alisa said in a tensed way! Henry answered that, seeing the situation that they have shifted to a new house, children were there at the point, and he didn't reacted on it. It was a serious thing, he had called a plumber for the checking; he'll come tomorrow.

Alisa agreed to Henry's words & told Henry about the accident of Jason. Henry went to Jason's room to see him, they were sleeping. Henry decided to go to sleep, he was all tired. Alisa & Henry went to their room & slept.

The next day. It was Saturday, Henry was at home. Alisa was cooking the breakfast. The children were still asleep. Suddenly, Alisa's mind was popped with a thought. She told Henry, "Don't you think that from the day we have come here, we have faced only problems, kind of serious ones?" Henry replied, "We have shifted only 3 days ago, Alisa!" Alisa went from there hearing Henry's answer.

He plumber came that evening & asked for the tap they called him for. Henry & Alisa leaded him to the tap & stood there. By 5 minutes, the plumber was able to say that it was all okay! The couple was not believing him, so they said him to check the pipeline of it. Henry & Alisa came to the living room, while the plumber was following the pipeline. The pipeline went to the chimney at the roof. It was the first time that the plumber was seeing a pipeline leading to the top. We went upstairs & found the chimney.

Henry & Alisa were waiting for him. Since, 30 minutes there was no information about the plumber. Alisa got in tension, he said Henry that let's go & check what he's doing there. They both went up the roof. They looked around, but they couldn't find the plumber working there. They thought that maybe he had fallen down the chimney or by the roof. They check the garden area by the roof, there was no one.

So, at last they looked down the chimney, it was all dark. They were pretty sure than he has fallen down, so they ran towards the living room where the chimney ended.

There was no one there also.

They checked the whole house for him, but he was not at all located.

Alisa said, "I told you Henry something's wrong with this house.","Please Alisa, there must be a reason for it." Henry replied. I think this situation is going extreme now.

Henry took out his phone, and dialed.

'911'.

A/N - Hi Guys! So, this was the first chapter; hope you liked it. Please comment or at least vote, it provides enough will power for new ideas for a writer, I hope you know. -.- ANYWAYS! THANKS FOR READING, & I'll update my chapters, in a suspense locking way, hope you understood; one by one, couple or triple days after another (The chapters are also set like that only, SUSPENSE LOCKING AS I SAID). I've written till 4th Chapter & I'll continue writing as & even it is possible. HOPE YOU'LL LIKE THE 2ND CHAPTER TOO. ;) And it'll be longer than the first 2 remarkably, I guess.
