The Borne Theory

Chapter 2

Police arrived in 20 minutes. The problem was already told to the police, they investigated the whole house, but then also nothing was found. No one knew where the plumber went. Everybody was tensed.

The police said that the house will be at investigation for a few days. The family accepted it, as they were left with no choice. Phineas & Jason didn't understood a single word of it what was going. The police went off from there for then.

"Henry, we're leaving this house now!!" Alisa shouted in tension.

"Keep calm Alisa, everything will be fine, wait..." Henry tried to calm down Alisa by giving her a positive reply.

"It's not done Henry. We've shifted to a new house, first Phineas I don't know from where gets his hand blooded, then this plumber vanished & now our house is at investigation, this is it, and we're going!!" Alisa was not in a mood if calming down, she was continuously shouting.

Henry told Phineas & Jason to go to their room & sleep.

Somehow, Henry was able to understand Alisa that everything will be fine, it was all co-incidental accidents. They slept.

The next morning Henry left for office early. He was tensed about his family & happenings in their new house. He was nearly convinced with the idea of Alisa of leaving the house. While Henry was thinking, a hand landed on his shoulder.

"Hey! I think you're tensed, aren't you?" He asked in a friendly manner, he was David Lesnar a worker in Henry's office.

"Yeah; but it's kind of personal." Henry replied while keeping his palms on his head & elbows on the table!

"You can tell me friend. At last we all are here for helping each other." He replied in very politely & calm mood.

Henry agreed to him & told him what was happening. David was surprised as well as shocked listening to Henry. After listening to Henry's words, he quickly read the situation & advised him to call Mr. Mathias.

"Who's Mr. Mathias?" Henry asked. "Henry, he is the most famous detective of Paris, he'd solved all cases that came to him in a mysterious but truthful way, I'm pretty sure he'll help you to solve out this problem easily, I guess." David was almost confident about his words. Henry took his phone number from David & called him to explain his problem; Henry called Mr. Mathias the next day to his house for the investigation.

The next day; Mathias arrives. Henry had taken a leave that day from the office.

"Good Morning! I'm Mathias Borne, I'm a detective & I'm called here for an investigation, I guess. This is my assistant Harry Yukes, so where's Mr. Henry?" His confidence & qualities exploded in the house as he gave his introduction.

Henry came downstairs & met Mathias Borne, he was a young man of 22 years. Mathias was shown the tap & the place where the plumber vanished. Mathias said to now blow off all tension they've breathed up, he's here. Mathias said them to leave him & his assistant alone for the investigation.

Mathias peeked down the chimney on the roof, it was all black. Mathias came downstairs and saw upwards the chimney from the living room. A little amount of light was only coming down. Mathias understood what has happened. Mathias went to the roof & told Harry to stay there, Mathias jumped into the chimney, in between of the passage, and a slide was there which took the way a type of 2nd floor. He dived into it. The place was dark, he took out his night vision lens.

There was the body of the plumber lying on the floor. Mathias went near him to check if he's dead or alive and as expected he was dead. His head was bleeding like somebody has hit his face with something hard, there was a cut jerk on the back of his head. Mathias came to living room & told the police that the case ahead will be attended by him. Police accepted & went off!

The body was brought down & was sent for forensic check, the result came out that his death is because of he crashed into a wall, because the cut mark there could be of the edge of a wall or a knife or something else. The detectives knew that he was hit by something but not sure either by someone or not.

Mathias & Harry went back to chimney hole & went in. They started to follow the pipeline, after a few minutes they finally found the ending. There was an empty bucket which it lead to. The leftover substance in it was not clearly known to them in the dark, hence, was known it was liquid.

They took it out, it was blood. Mathias knew what happened. They approached the family.

"Your chimney leads to a 2nd floor which is not so big, the body of the plumber was found there as you know & a bucket full of blood was there, which is emptied now, so your Son was supposedly not lying, it was that tap only. And now we don't know from where that blood came from & whose blood it was." Mathias told to the family, his statement somehow made the family realise that there was no ghosts in there house & it was all technical case of murder, they guessed. "Thank you for it, Mathias!" Henry relieved himself. "But the case is not over! Sir." He explained.

Mathias knocked the walls all the way he went, suddenly he found a wall which was newly made, it felt so. Mathias & Harry took permission from the family to sideline the obstacle that was the wall, they have to investigate inside it, and so they asked whether they can break the wall. Then he & Harry broke that wall which took approximately 2 hours.

At last they broke it down, & a baggage felt to the ground.

A/N - Thanks for reading, Chapter is going get uploaded just in a couple of days, I guess. Often my guesses are wrong!! LIKE TADAA!! But fortunately not this time because I've told you that I've written already till the 4th Part. :) Hope you'll enjoy reading the next chapter, the suspense continues...
