I feel great.

I woke up, energized, no longer feeling any signs of sickness. I hopped out of bed quickly, almost too quickly as I almost flung myself into the wall.

I was really surprised to feel as good as I felt, considering how I felt just last night. But I'll just ignore that because I seriously feel great! Every day that I wake up, I'm super tired and weak and am like that the whole day. But today, although still tired, I'm energized, though not too hyper.

I hop in the shower, the temperature of the water maybe a little too hot, but I didn't mind. I had gotten done with all my essentials so I figured that I would have time to shave today. Shaving my legs, armpits, and bikini area. It felt so fresh. I walk back to my room in a towel, rummaging through my closet for something to wear. I found a dress.

It was a bright yellow,  a perfect color for spring

It was a bright yellow,  a perfect color for spring. It reached to just above my knees and the back was completely open. Which was okay, the temperature outside was about 65° F and it was extra windy. I paired it with some low black wedges that I haven't worn in a year, that somehow still fit perfectly.

I blow dried my hair, singing into it occasionally, while I blasted music in my room. I curled my hair, which took about half an hour, if I'm being honest, due to the fact that my hair is too long for my own good. I wasn't a makeup professional, nor did I own any good, expensive makeup, but I did mine, nonetheless.

It was simple today, though, which worked with everything else. I even added some orange-toned red lipstick to my lips. My lashes were already long, so I just added a light coat of mascara, darkening them.

I practically galloped to the kitchen, where I expected my mom. Though, she wasn't there.

"Mom?" I yelled out through the house.

I noticed a note laying on the counter, it read:

"Had to go to work early, here's some money to buy breakfast since I didn't make any. Sorry Honey. XOXO -Mom"

Underneath the note was the money, I slid it into my backpack, sighing as I realized that I would have to walk to school. I grab my bag and Jakes, locking the door behind me as I left.

About a couple blocks in, I hear a voice yell,

"Hey, sexy lady! Mind if I give you a ride?"

I turn to see Jake, driving slowly next to me, hanging his head out of his window.

"I don't think I'm suppose to get in cars with strangers!" I yell back, chuckling.

"Aw, come on, we've talking about this. I'm technically not a stranger anymore."

"Yeah-yeah, sure, Jake."
