-Really long and crazy chapter. Sorry! I'm so over dramatic. -

It was now Friday.

The day after I spent the night at Jakes house, Tuesday night, everyone seemed to look at me differently. Alot of people acknowledged me. When I asked Jake what was up, he said that people know the I'm the Alphas girl now. It made me feel special, but at the same time insecure.

Since that night, me and Jake haven't seen each other outside of school. He says he's been super busy and that he's sorry. I believe him, but it still doesn't make me any less sad.

The most we've done since was a quick peck on the lips. I'm going insane.

My period ended yesterday and I couldn't have been more happy. If was so ready for him, even contemplating going to him as soon as I knew. But he was busy with 'Alpha business.'

School was over, I was planning on walking home like I have been the past few days. But suddenly, I hear a honk behind me. I scream, dropping my note books and phone. Before I even pick it up, I turn to see Jake, sitting in his car, laughing.

"You fucking ass."

"Come on, I'll give you a ride."

"Aren't you busy?"

He rolls his eyes, "No! Now, come on."

I hop in the passengers seat, laying all my things in the back.

It was silence for a few moments, before Jake spoke,

"How have you been? I've missed you."

"Yeah, okay, I guess. I've missed you too."

"Okay? Something wrong?"

"No."

"Come onnnnnn, somethings wrong."

He interlocks his fingers with mine, laying them on my leg.

"I've just..really missed you."

"I know, I'm sorry babe. I've just been so busy with this dumb Alpha stu-"

"I know."

"Are you mad at me?"

"No."

"Yes."

"No. I'm just sad."

"Do you wanna go to my house instead?"

"My mom is having a family dinner tonight. Family from her side is coming over. Tons of them."

"Then let me be your date."

"I'm not so sure that's a good idea."

"Why not?"

"Because my mom doesn't like you. She already hates me being with you, I don't think she would be happy if I brought you to a family dinner."

"Then I'll make her like me."

I look at him, waiting for a 'never mind' or a 'just kidding', but I got nothing.

"Fine. Go home. Get dressed. Nicely. My family is pickey. Meet me at my house in an hour."

He smiles, "Okay."

It was silent until we got to my house and I got out of the car.

"Wait!" Jake yells, rolling down the window.

I run back up to it, sticking my head in.

"Gimme a kiss."

"No. My mom is probably looking."
