"Merlin's illustrious beard, give me strength."

Leaves fell. Discolouring, over the Hogwarts grounds as they entered the autumn season, Professor Flitwick had already begun to hang Halloween decorations which he always had trouble with without magic. Talk of the Triwizard Tournament escalated as the days grew close. "Wonder what the other schools will be like?" Liza pondered, glancing at the lake water outside, "Father used to say he wanted Draco and I to go to one of the schools competing. Supposed to be a poster school for anti-muggles, sexism, dark arts"
"Huh. Suddenly, I want Hogwarts to crush them!" Audrey paused, "Maybe Liza can use her third eye to predict who will win the tournament. How about it Liza?" Liza imitated having a vision before the group broke into hystericals; she grinned at Nicholas lightly punching his arm only to hurt herself, "Do you work out now? That hurt..."
"Heh, a little" he murmured, giving Liza a nudge back, "You'll live Liza, I know I must be incredibly strong-Oopf!" Audrey chuckled as she swung her hand into the Malfoy boy's stomach lightly, "Don't worry Nik. You'll live" the two tackled each other until Nik ended with his body above her, his hand around her waist, "I know, Princess."

Swiftly, Audrey pulled herself away to catch up with Rodney and Neville, whom were laying by the marble steps, "Lovebirds! Time to get to class Rodney" she hummed, watching as Rodney glanced desperately into Neville's eyes, "Uhhggg... fine! We'll talk later Nev."
"Nev, huh?" The rose-head murmured, elbowing the small boy, "Shut it, Dursley"
"Wow! My feelings are completely battered!" She cried dramatically, flailing her arms,
"Hurry then, or Moody will have both our heads."

Defence Against the Dark Arts was, needless to say, a very disturbing subject as of late. 'As of late' being the moment Audrey met the former Auror, remembering as clear as day how incredibly frightened she was.

"Alastor Moody" he growled, swiping up the chalk from his desk and advancing on the board, "Ex Auror. And your new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher- No questions about it. Done!" He grumbled, his eye flashed at each second year before him; it was a most horrifying start to a new term. "When it comes to the Dark Arts, I believe in a practical approach- you need to know what you're up against... No matter how afraid you are" he hobbled towards the board once more, "Can anyone give me a name of a monster in the magical world? Come on... come on... use your brains- Mr. Harris!"
"Yes" Rodney croaked,
"Stand!" He did so on command.
"How about it then? Give us a monster"
"W-werewolf-"
"Nooo! Too unoriginal! Think again!" Moody barked like a guard dog, "Umm... A mummy"
"Yes! Mummies are quite vicious things- slow- at first until they hex or curse you for eternity... Ms. Hatsman!" The twins both stood, looking down at their desks.
"I hear that you're parents love searching for monsters don't they? Hunting?" Liza shook her head profusely, "To understand and protect. Sir"
"Give us one then!"
"Banshees"
"Yes! Yes! Banshee's- mainly female. Deadly if you cross paths with under serious circumstances! A banshee is most deadly when it screams as someone dies... Dursley!"

A lump formed in her throat, she couldn't bring herself to face her teacher. He came inches away from her, so much that she could feel his breathe, "Don't give me a stupid answer. I know what you know"
