While Draco aided her slowly dying mind to decipher this screaming egg, she lay head first, groaning as Draco was being painfully flirtatious and secretly... making her smile.

As much as she used to detest him, the keyphrase being: 'used to', Audrey found the eldest Malfoy... tolerable. And funny, extremely hilarious really, he always tells the funniest jokes that can only be paralleled with Liza's though nobody knew as they only hung out secretly as to avoid any... Complications. "What's say you and me get out of this dingy library and go to-"
"You know I can't go to Hogsmeade, Draco!" She hissed, placing her dusty books back on their shelves; "But don't those Weasley brothers have secret ways to Hogsmeade or something?"
"Draco, if I got caught my house points would be severely deplinished for breaking such a rule"
"At least let me take you to our favourite place?"
Rolling her eyes, she was unable to conceal her grin for long, "Fine. As long as you don't try and fool about! Deal?"
"Deal... love."

A group of her closest girl-friends lay across the soft grass, just having fun. Rochelle and Gabrielle giggled at Liza and Ginny competing in a friendly game of gobstones and a few of the older Gryffindor girls like Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet discussed their upcoming NEWT examinations; the two younger girls took quite a bit of interest seeing as they would be preparing for their exams 'soon enough' as Professor Sprout liked to phrase it.

"It may be a year away but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be prepared now. Preparation is key to success" Hermione said, rubbing Angelina's arm as she vented about exams being 'a bloody waste of time!' "You two are lucky! You practically have all the time in the world to prepare. Alicia and I haven't got long left at Hogwarts"
"Yeah, definitely going to miss Quidditch though. The fun times- like winning last year!" They all smiled, "Cedric was so gracious about it. He really is quite the catch"
"Lucky Cho Chang, then. I saw them at the Three broomsticks last weekend-"
"At least he's found someone" Audrey beamed, turning to see several empathetic looks from her friends; "Guys, honestly! Sure. Nicholas and I don't talk much anymore but, it was the right decision"
"Good for you, Audrey stay single for as long as possible. Boys are complicated things"
"You're telling me" she muttered,
"What?"
"How about we all go see if the twins are up to some mischief?!" The girls simply shrugged their shoulders, travelling towards the castle doors.

"Finally! I found it. Mermaids can only sing underwater, they sound like baby kittens getting strangled otherwise-" Audrey chimed, pointing rather excitedly at the heavy book she was balancing on her knee; "Isn't that offensive to kittens?" Audrey chortled at his joke,
"So the logic is that I put the egg in water and it will reveal the clue"
"You know what? You should go into the Prefects Bathroom, then you can listen to the clue!"
"That's brilliant!" She embraced him suddenly retracting, "Heheh... Yeah- I'm going to..." she trailed off pointing to the door, picking up her egg, "Yeah, yeah. Go on. I'm going to go... put these books away." The intense stare continued until Audrey was out of sight, both parties sighed, "What are you doing to me?"

With Professor Sprouts permission, Audrey was able to gain entry to the Prefects Bathroom as per a one day agreement. As the water flowed into the giant Roman style bath, she unwrapped herself from her bathrobe revealing her pale skin and petite figure; "Okay egg" she huffed holding the egg at arms length, "You're going for a little swim!" With a satisfying plop, the egg was engulfed in the bath, humming a sweet tune. Gingerly adjusting herself to the water temperature, hissing as she held her breathe under the foaming water, it sang, "Come seek us where our voices sound, we cannot sing above the ground. An hour long you'll have to look, to recover what we toooook..."
