A Supposedly Love Triangle

Days and weeks flew by in a blur with me hardly noticing. I would supply blood to the vampires every night to make them feel stronger; it was working as when we practiced self-defence and fighting skills, there ability to fight increased more and more each day. Jeremy had invited over some of his other relatives from China and they were too shocked for words when Jacob knocked one of them out with just a punch. The vampires wouldn’t let me out of sight, and I admired them for their protection for me but it gets a little annoying when Rose guards the bathroom door when I go for a shower, she says there’s perverted wolves out there who can attack me any minute.

My wolf and I have gotten closer, we even share how we feel about things and comfort each other more than we ever have throughout our entire lives.

Don’t embarrass me woman, I have pride to maintain, I rolled my eyes and started to straighten my hair.

You love me really, my wolf just laughed while shaking her head.

I was sat on my bed wearing high-waisted denim shorts with a plain white crop top under a  black and white striped waistcoat. I knew this usually wouldn’t be my style but having to stick around with Rose is quite the picture. She tries to be my stylist and dresses me matching my mood, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes when she told me to be more cheerful everyday so I can wear dresses. I nearly barfed.

I got up from my bed and put away my straighteners in my side drawer. I slipped on some white converses and skipped out of my room and into the kitchen where everyone else was at.

The China vampires had gone back home last week as they thought they’d over stayed their welcome. I looked over to the dining table and smiled when Jeremy winked at me. I chuckled and walked over to him, sitting on his lap and giving his cheek a kiss.

“Morning Jer,” I winked while picking up a strawberry from his plate and popping it in my mouth.

“Morning Babe,” He mumbled while placing a soft kiss on my lips. I involuntarily shivered at his touch making him chuckle.

You see, me and Jeremy have gotten real close these past few weeks. He’d be a total jerk sometimes but he cared for me more than anyone else has. He doesn’t care if I rant about James or my parents, he would listen and try to understand. He’d know if I’ve had a nightmare and sleep with me. Sometimes I wished that Jeremy was my mate and not James. I had asked Jeremy if it was possible to vampires and werewolves to mate and he said yes. I was more than surprised by his answer because it was just plain weird.

Imagine having a vampire-wolf baby… were-vamp.

I looked around the dining table and saw the same empty seat as I always have since Rose and Tyler arrived. It was Alex. No he didn’t die, if that’s what you’re wondering. But he did run away. He hasn’t returned yet and I’m worried that something might have happened to him. He might have been a bloody douchebag by treating me like crap but he was still Jeremy’s brother, and I care about anyone who’s civilised with Jeremy. Apparently it was normal for Alex to run away, he’s done it before on many occasions. He once left for a whole year when his parents died. So that made me feel a little better.

“Right then, who’s turn is it to go and hunt the rogues for the week?” Jacob asked while chewing on his bacon rashers. I frowned in disapproval as he shoved a couple of slices into his mouth at once.

“Why can’t I go?” I whined for the billionth time. Rose sighed and placed her hand on my arm as I sulked.

“Honey it’s dangerous for you to go out there. The wolves are after you and if you go they will attack and take you away. We can’t have that, we need to protect you.”
