The truth about his hatred

“She doesn’t need help okay? Even if she did need help I wouldn’t care anyway, she’s not my responsibility and remember she’s a rogue.  Do you understand Noah? And you too Richard, you’re too dense to notice her tricks, she can be tricking any of you guys. She’s already tricked you Noah and I have no fucking idea why you’re still running after her; you don’t even know anything about her!” I heard the infamous James shout making me cringe and cover my ears.

“I think she’s mine…” I heard Noah whisper,

Isn’t that cute? He thinks I’m his’!  I smiled to my wolf who just grunted in return,

Well he’s wrong, my wolf muttered. I rolled my eyes and ignored her rude comment, sheesh; she seriously needs to calm down, I heard that!

You were supposed to, I smirked

“Yours? What do you mean yours?” James asked exasperatedly,

“Mine as in my mate! I feel so happy around her okay? And I want you to let her be… she’s innocent James! Leave her alone!” Noah shouted getting annoyed. My ears were starting to pound making me groan.

“What? Your mate? She’s your mate? Out of anyone else, you got a fucking rogue to be your mate?” James spat furiously.

“Stop hating on random rogues James! Just because she’s a rogue doesn’t mean she was the one who did it!” Noah spat furiously.

“What the fuck is a mate?” I whispered hoarsely while trying to get up but my bones gave away, I couldn’t feel my legs and my head was throbbing causing my eyes to water. I sniffed and took a deep breath, “I need to leave this place, help me leave…” I choked out as I slowly got up while sliding my back up against the wall to support me.  I heard the cell gate squeak, my eyes snapped to James who was watching me cautiously as if I’d prance on him any moment. I gulped and kept my distance from him, I was worried if he would bring the machine back. That thing hurt like a bitch.

  

“We’re not finished with our talk, do you understand?” James pointed at Noah expectantly. Noah gave a curt nod and looked away. James turned to me and leaned on the cell’s door,

“What? No smart comments for me today huh?” James smirked, his hands inside his back pockets of his faded jeans. I narrowed my eyes at him and walked around the cell holding on to the walls for dear life as I stumbled a few times due to my weakness. James also walked around the cell but not towards me.

 I felt a hand clamp down on my right shoulder holding me in place; I closed my eyes and sighed. I looked up and saw that it was the angry dude who smacked my ass when… wait, when was it? Damn is it even day or night? There needs to be windows in here, it’s getting stuffy. I turned back to the angry dude and glared at him,

“What. Do. You. Want?” I spat and shoved his hand off of me, “I dont want to catch anything contagious,” I mumbled to myself knowing it was a lame thing to say.

“Ooh, you were right. Girl has bite.” He chuckled and stroked my cheek, my eyes went wide in surprise at his actions so I did the first thing that came into my mind, I stepped on his feet and spat on his face. The guy was holding his feet and repeatedly swore, ‘fuck’ while wiping his face full of saliva. I groaned a little in pain before limping towards the cell door quickly to get out.

“Luke you asshole, can you not focus?” James yelled at him, I didn’t turn around to be attacked by the beast so I carried on limping. I was just past the cell gate and limping towards the stairs until Dick came and gave me a bear hug… an attempt to stop me from running away.
