I stood looking out at the view from my pent house office, listening to the pleas of my latest mistress.

"But I love you Enrico" she said as the tears slid down her make-up stained cheek.

Why do girls turn on the waterworks when things aren't going their way! Did they think that sort of shit worked on me. That I would hold and comfort them.

"No Celina, you love the idea of me and the life my money could give you" I remarked.

"We had good times together though didn't we. You can't just switch off from the feelings we shared. All the things you've done to me you must have felt something!" she shrieked.

"The only feeling I had for you was lust and that's grown weak. Which is why I'm putting an end to it! We used what little attraction we had in the bedroom and I'm tired of you. Now leave this office and accept my parting gift on the way out" I sternly replied.

With that she picked up her stuff screaming blue murder on her way out the door. There would probably be an intrusive article of poison in tomorrow's paper, but I'd do damage control when and if it happened. Thank god that venomous witch was out of my life.

As the door slammed I tried to recall what I had ever seen in her. From her fake boobs to her fake attitude it was unfortunately the stereotype of all women these days. Were there any decent women out there anymore. Some that weren't money grabbing whores. Coming out of my self pitying haze I realised the phone was ringing.

"Enrico Asturias, speak" I growled.

"Wow someone got out the wrong side of bed this morning. You not been getting any recently" laughed Lazaro

"I'm going to ignore that since we are friends Lazaro" I replied pointedly.

"What has gotten you all riled up mi amigo? How about a VIP invite to my club opening tomorrow night? Lazaro enquired.

"I would hope I was invited anyway, but sounds like just what I need! What time do I need to be there?" I enquired.

"8pm! Tomorrow leave work early, go home, shave and put on a suit. I have more stuff to organise so adios mi amigo" answered Lazaro abruptly.

"Adios Lazaro" Looking at the phone I realised he had already hung up. Chuckling I sat down and turned back to the computer. It was only four I had plenty of time in the day left to go over the details of the latest ship I had obtained, and was soon to set assail. Looking at the computer I realised I still needed to fill in the head chef position on the ship. Since it set sail on Monday with a party for all my friends, I needed to find one soon. I hit the speed dial on my office phone.

"Mr Galver set interviews for first thing tomorrow morning. I'm in need of a head chef for the Calabra." I instructed.

" Yes Mr Asturias I'll get on it right away" Mr Galver answered.
