Isabella- Chapter 4

For the first time in my life I was shocked at what was staring back at me in the mirror. I looked like a completely different person and it wasn't in a good way.

"Lexi, I look like a slapper" I squealed

"Pffft your far from a slapper little Miss virgin"

"Hey don't bring that up there's no need for it"

Lexi snorted "Look Izzie tonight is about having fun, saying goodbye and celebrating! If you release this need to be good and let your hair down, maybe you can find a man to lose yourself over tonight. Where's the harm?"

"Ermm, losing myself and having a one night stand before I leave is what's wrong with it!" I groaned.

"Fine... Fine OK I'll drop the subject, but we will go out and have a fun filled night" Lexi exclaimed.

"Amen to that. First things first though can we maybe downplay on the way I look just a little bit!"

I saw Lexi roll her eyes, but I knew she would do anything to make me happy as that's what best friends are for! Twenty minutes later I was ready. Even I had to admit I looked good, maybe even hot. Just then the doorbell rang, the girls must of arrived! Tonight I would free up my prim and proper attitude. I'm going to enjoy myself even if it kills me! I ran down and answered the door.

"Sarah, Holly it's been a while it's so good to see you" I had known all the girls since we were 10 and at my now 24 years, I have to say we are pretty close.

"Well missy we all have time consuming jobs I'm afraid and it looks like it will be the last we see of you for a while, congratulations" exclaimed Holly

"Thanks Holly! That's a point though how did you manage to wangle a night off" I questioned.

Holly smirked "I have my ways"

"That was what I was afraid you'd say" I giggled.

Holly burst into laughter making me turn my attention to Sarah who was keeping quiet.

"What about you Sarah"

"I've had to quit my job today. Creepy Simon got demanding with shifts and trying it on. What's a girl got to do to get the respect she needs these days." Sarah said looking defeated.

"Oh my God Sarah. I'm so sorry " I said whilst hugging her.

"Tonight is obviously well needed for all of us then, congratulations by the way" said Sarah as Lexis came to the last step on the stairs. she walked past and hugged Sarah, then went to find her purse.

"After tonight it appears I need to go and find another job, any ideas?" Sarah questioned.

"I can always ask at the office tomorrow since I work there now" beamed Lexi

"I can't ask you to do that you've only just got the job, besides I don't think it's my scene" laughed Sarah

Lexi joined in laughing " yeah maybe not"

"Are you guys ready to go I thought we had to be there at 8" I asked

"yeah I'm definitely ready, let's go out and have fun" shouted Holly

We all headed to the taxi laughing and giggling as we went. The driver looked at us disgustedly, probably thinking we were already drunk. At that moment I was to happy to care. He wearily let us in and typed in the address of club we were going to. I hope I wouldn't give a man the wrong idea tonight, because he was in for a big serving of disappointment.
