I wake the next morning to see the sunlight comming in through the gap in the curtains. I look at my alarm clock,

7:20am

My alarm didn't go off?

Oh No! I have ten minutes to be at the bus stop. I quickly get changed and brush my teeth. I run out the door and make my way to the bus stop while brushing and tying up my hair. I didn't even get time to do my makeup.

I just arrive as the bus drives down the road. The older kids sitting in the back stare out the window at me pointing and laughing as I run after the bus hopping to catch up to it. I don't.

Great.

I turn around to walk home but remembering a short cut, I bolt off in the detections my older brother once showed me. Half running, half walking I make my way along the road through the bush hopping to make it to school on time.

I'm nearly at the end of the short cut when a car comes speeding down the road alongside me. I move over onto the grass to make more room between me and the car, when the car swerves off the side of the road and straight into a thick puddle of brown mud.

The mud is sprayed everywhere including all over my new uniform, face and hair. Oh no. Not the hair.

"Could my day get any worse!" I scream, frightening all the birds from their nesting spots in the trees.

Maybe that was said too soon as a hear footsteps from behind me. I turn to see a young, blonde haired, blue eyed, gorgeous and I mean absolutelly gorgeous, like the movie star gorgeous, like the one you always dream about but you know isn't real gorgeous except this time its reall and right behind me, but he was just gorgeous.

I stared for a few seconds until his eyes met mine, then I looked away quickly. How could he see me like this. I mean mud all over me, no mirrored dressing so I don't even know what I look like and I didn't even het time to do my makeup thismorning.

I guess my day could get worse.
