I turn around one last time before walking in the school gate. The boy had gone. I flick my hair back as I look forward to see the boy walking backwards into the school gate faceing me.
His mouth formed a grin as I looked at him. I smiled back, noticing his sexy jaw line. He was so gorgeous.
I stared at the ground as he slowed down to walk alongside me. "My name's Jye." he whispered. "and yours is?"
"Maree, Jordyn Maree" I said a little to quickly. nerves were getting to me and I wasn't sure why...
He said goodbye and walked off.
I walked into class and sat next to a girl whose dress looked a bit to small for her and needed to be told it was winter. Not freaking 40 degrees Celsius.
I was just about to tell her that myself when the teacher walked into the classroom.
We got our work and we begun slowly working through worksheets on the Eureka Stockade. All of a sudden the girl who didn't feel the cold turned to me and started saying a mix of words I couldn't be bothered listening to.
I looked around to see a bunch of people sighing and plugging headphones in so I did the same. She went on and on untill she realised I couldn't hear her and she shut up.
