"So.." she says as she looks me in the eye. "What did I tell you. He's mine. Not yours. Mine" I stare at her blankly.
"I don't want him.." I lie. I really do but not just yet..
"Well stay away from him. Don't talk to him, don't laugh at him, don't so much as look at him." she goes to walk away only turning back around to say "And definitely, DON'T lead him on!"
She walks away and it takes me a few seconds to recover before spying Jye in the corner. I write a note on a piece of paper.
CAN'T MAKE IT TOO LUNCH. SORRY
MEET ME AT GATE AFTER SCHOOL.
I fold it up and close my locker. I pretend I'm going outside the door where he's sitting and drop the nite in his lap as I walk past.
I don't stay long enough for him to open and read it so I head off to class. But when I get back to my locker after school is finished I have a new note in my locker.
