Meet Madeline, Aiden and the Homeless

Shivering like hell as I got up from my little corner, Aiden whispering to me 'Are you alright?' I looked up at him "I'm fine.." I stuttered. Nobody but me could see him. I stumbled as I walked along the snowy pavement.. I couldn't handle the cold anymore as I collapsed.. Unable to move.. I felt the evil entities trying to get me..

Aiden's POV
I kept the entities off of Madeline, I noticed a man digging through some rubbish. I managed to toss some things around to gain his attention so he would notice Madeline's uncounsious body. He picked her up and carried her away to his place with 4 others. 3 other boys and 1 girl. The girl looked pregnant. I looked at the others 1 man was drinking, 1 was clearly doing drugs and the other was reading a dirty old comic book. The man placed Madeline on his bed and continued to look after her, the boy who was reading the comic stopped after noticing her and began to help the strange man.

Madeline's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, looking around I noticed a man looking at me "Finally, your awake.." He'd smile. "Where am I?" I asked. "My place, I saw you on the streets so I brought you here to help you. I wouldn't have noticed you if the damn bin didn't topple over" He'd chuckle. I looked up whispering "Thank you Aiden.." I looked back to the stranger. "Whats your name?" I asked. "I'm Stan, over there drinking is Walter, the guy taking drugs is Jimmy, the girl there is Tuesday and that boy is Liam." He'd start pointing. "Well I'm Madeline." I smiled. "Nice to meet ya Madeline. How long have you been on the streets for?" He asked. "A couple weeks, you?" I asked back. "About 3 years." He'd sigh. I felt bad but stood up and after meeting Jimmy, Walter and Tuesday I walked over to Liam, who waved at me "Hey there" He smiled. Me and Liam;

I shook his hand as he looked away almost instantly in a very shy way. "Liam right?" I asked. He nodded. "Yea, what about you?" He replied. "Madeline." I smiled. After talking a little Stan called "Madeline, come here" He signalled. I got up "Talk to you later" I smiled as he returned the smile. "Whats up Stan?" I asked. "We're low on food and need to make money.." He sighed. "Want me to show you how we run things?" He added. I nodded, wanting to help them. I followed him outside from under the bridge. Instantly I get hit with the freezing cold air causing me to shiver. We sat down on some cardboard. Stan explained it could take a week to get enough money as we needed 5 dollars for a hot meal.. I got up. "How about I go somewhere else? Split up, may have a better chance.." I stuttered. "Alright, be careful" Stan nodded as I crossed the road.

I walked into a diner, the owner looked at me angrily. "P-Please sir.. Could you-.." As I went to ask he instantly told me to leave saying 'No bums in here' I walked out. That's when I heard things flung across the room inside. "Aiden.. Stop.. They aren't gonna help us.. Don't waste your time.." I sighed as I continued walking. A man in black looked at me 'Hey there baby.. Want some money?' He asked. Being cautious I replied "How much?" I asked. 'Ten dollars says you'll come round back with me..' He smiled. I looked at him instantly knowing his idea. "No. I ain't that desperate. Asshole." I went to walk off but he grabbed me and pulled me round back, grabbing my neck. Instantly the guy began getting strangled causing him to release me. "Aiden stop.." I commanded as he released the creep. "Get the fuck away from me you pervert. I'll kill you if you touch me again" I angrily told him as he ran away. "Thanks Aiden." I smiled. I walked off and noticed a guy with a guitar. "Hi there. Nice guitar." I smiled. "Thanks, almost froze my fingers off tryna play it.. You can try if you want" He offered. I mean, I took lessons a long time ago.. Why not? I picked it up and began playing. People stopped and gave money. After finishing it was dark. I went over to Stan after giving half to the man who owned the guitar.

"How are you doing?" I asked him. "Not good.." He looked up at me disappointed. "You?" He sighed. I pulled out the 15 dollars I earned. "Holy sh.. Mad. How?" He asked stunned. "I.. Saw a guy with a guitar and.. I kinda play so.." I shrugged smiling. "I'll get us some food. You wait here" He smile as he crossed the road to the supermarket. Soon after he came out a group started pushing Stan. I ran over "Stop and you wont get hurt.." I warned. They chuckled. 'Whose this little girl, whatcha gonna do hm? I am so scared' He joked as he swung a fist which I dodged and threw one at him knocking him on his ass. There were 5. 1 recording the other 4 started to fight me. I took them all on easy. Aiden wanted to help but I told him not to. I didn't want to scare Stan. The guys scattered after one muttering 'I'll be back'
'Madeline, how did you take them on?' Stan asked as I helped him up. "I learned to fight in the army." I shrugged. 'But there were four of them!' He added. I laughed. "Yea, 4 assholes. Who did NOT know how to fight." We both went back to the rest. Stan began cooking as Liam and I sat down together. I told him about the fight. He smiled and congratulated me. "Remind me not to get on your bad side" He laughed. I laughed with him.

After a little talk Stan called and we sat down to eat. I asked about everyone including Tuesday's baby who shes worried about as the baby hasn't been kicking for days.. She then asked about me. 'So, Madeline.. You haven't told us about yourself since you got here. How did you get on the streets?' I sighed. "I did things I'm not proud of.." I began. I guess you guys are wondering about Aiden and my past before this point.. Well.. Long story short. Aiden and I have been connected since birth, as I grew up in this family. Aiden would get overprotective of me and almost chocked a boy for rubbing snow in my face as a child. My father almost hit me which sparked up his anger. I was handed to a lab where two men, who I look up to as the closest family I have now apart from Aiden. They helped study Aiden, try to understand why he's here and who he is. Those men are Professor Nathan Dawkins and Doctor Cole. Soon I was taken by the CIA. Where I met Ryan, the first guy I kinda took interest in but soon I found out they were using me.. I killed a president as they ordered me to do so as they said he was a warlord.. I jumped from the helicopter and escaped the police on a train then a motorbike. Of course Aiden helped me escape it all.. Now I'm here.. Homeless with some new friends. Anyway, back to the conversation..

They all looked at me "I'm also.. Different.." I added. "Different? In what way?" Walter asked. "Ever since I was born.. I've been connected to.. An entity.." I spoke honestly. "Looks like Jimmy ain't the only one on drugs." Walter joked. I stood up. Kneeling down by Tuesday. "You want to know how your babies doing?" I asked. She nodded so I took her hands and Aiden used his magic so I could see her baby. It was alive. "Don't worry, your baby is fine." I smiled. "How do you know?" She asked. "I saw it." I smiled as I stood up, she cupped her belly. I sat down by Jimmy. "Are you ok?" I asked. "I'm cold.. So fuckin cold.." He stuttered. I took his hands and Aiden healed his damaged areas. Jimmy looked at me in shock and thanked me as he got up and walked to his area. I then held Stan's hands and Aiden possessed me so I could imitate Stan's dead wife's voice so he can talk to her again. He cried and thanked me. I looked at Liam after everyone but him and I went to bed and I sat beside him.

"How did you do all that?" He asked. "I'm connected to an entity called Aiden. He's been with me since birth. Honestly." I told him. Liam looked around. "Is he here now?" He asked. "Yes, he is always here. Give me your hands. Is there anything bothering you?" I asked him. "Well.. My younger sister went missed a couple weeks ago.. Can you and Aiden tell me if she is safe?" He asked. I nodded. Aiden did his magic and I saw that Liam's sister was alive. "She is alive." I told him. Liam hugged me. "Thank you" He smiled. We soon went to bed..
