Old Friends

I have been on the run now for a long time and I have finally gotten peace. For now that is.. I was walking in the park when I saw that familar face.. "COLE!!" I ran and hugged him so tightly as tears left my eyes.. "I missed you so much!" I teared up. "Oh princess.. I missed you too.." He smiled. "How's Aiden doing?" He looked up as Aiden replied greeting Cole rather happily. "Good to see you too buddy." He chuckled. "Where have you been?" He asked me as we began walking. "The whole stupid organisation lied to me.. They made me kill a president.. They told me he was a warlord.." I looked down. "So I ran.. From them.. The police.. Everything.." I shook my head. "Ended up on the streets with some homeless friends till a fire got us caught and me sent to hospital.. I escaped as the CIA were back and ran away till a cop found me.." I explained. "Aiden defended me as the police were coming for me so I ended up in a desert and met more friends.. Then I left and well.. I've been on the run still.." I crossed my arms. Cole then began explaining about how Nathan is doing well and is the leader of the whole thing now and he then admitted to who my real mother is.. "I have to find her.." I started walking "Hey wait, you think your walking there girl?" He smiled and drove me there.

We arrived and I stepped out "Wait here" I told him. "Giiirl. I didn't come here to wait in no car!" He chuckled and got out. I smiled and laughed a little. Cole was seriously like an uncle to me.. He always cared for me through everything I did. Gave me a person to lean on if I was upset. Aiden does all he can but when it comes to needing physical support Cole was there. We entered and I approached the desk "Um hello, could I please see Norah Gray?" I asked. "ID please?" The man asked. "Um.. Could we please ignore the ID this once? I really need to see her.." I begged. "Sorry. No ID. No pass." He looked away as I walked back to Cole. "Usually the polite way always works.." He sighed. "Hold on.." I told him. "I had a feeling you'd say that." I looked to Aiden. "Aiden. Find my mothers room. Please" I requested as he distracted the man and looked at the computer after activating the elevator. "Thank you Aiden." I smiled as we went into the elevator and we stepped out and noticed a guard. We got past rather easy but there was a door. "Aiden, open the door for us.." I requested as he distracted the guard and then opened the door so we got through just fine. But the next one required a key card which a doctor had but he was too far for Aiden to get to. "Make some noise Aiden, draw him to you." I told him as he did just that by shoving chairs and tables all over the place and he also broke any cameras in sight before doing so. The doctor then entered the room and Aiden possessed him instantly. Opening the door to let Cole and I in he then put the card down and knocked the Doctor out by smashing him against a wall. I grabbed it and Cole and I searched the area. Aiden continued to break the cameras.

We found her room and so as I was about to step in Cole stopped me "She.. May not recognise you.. Maybe you shouldn't go in.." He suggested. I could tell he didn't want me to get upset but I didn't come this far for nothing. "I need to see her Cole.." I sighed as I went in.. Upon seeing her in a chair.. Attached to machines.. Staring blankly at nothing.. My heart felt like it shattered.. It was truly heartbreaking.. "Mom.." I approached as she showed no signs of recognising me.. I knelt down as tears left my eyes like a waterfall.. I held her hands.. "A-Aiden.. Please.. Help me.." I begged as he allowed me to see a vision of everything these monsters did to her.. Aiden then did something so I then appeared in a black area.. My mother stood in front of me.. "Mom!" I spoke. She was trapped in something which Aiden destroyed so she could talk.. "Mom.." Tears left my eyes again. "Madeline.. My baby.. Its really you.." She gasps. I try so hard to hug her but.. I couldn't.. "Mom, I am gonna save you. I promise.." I told her. "Honey.. Its too late.." She told me as we.. Exchanged goodbyes as she was trapped again.. Tears flooded even faster from my eyes as I couldn't bare the pain going through me at all of this.. "Aiden.. End her suffering.. We can't let these monsters.. Control her any longer.." I told him as he pulled the plug and she died almost instantly.. I took her necklace to remember her as I left the room..

Upon exiting Cole was held at gunpoint by the CIA.. I was then knocked to the ground and everything went black.. I opened my eyes as I sat up on a couch.. I looked around the large room. I got up and explored a little.. It was an office but then I noticed a Snow globe.. Picking it up.. I remember it.. Nathan had this when I first met him.. That is when he entered. I hugged him of course and demanded answers which he gave eventually. "Madeline, we made a larger machine. To the Infra World." Nathan then explained everything about his family.. He then begged for me to let him speak to them.. After Aiden and I allowed him to speak to them.. They cried out to him in pain so Nathan calls me a liar.. "Y-Your keeping them trapped here. Your hurting them Nathan! Your keeping them between the two worlds.." I told him as he angrily disagrees.. I go to leave but the CIA request me so I go to them.. He wants me to work with Ryan to shut off another condenser.. Having no choice I agree..
