I smile tiredly up at him as Amy and I walk to our tent, Ethan in front, guiding us through the darkness of the night.

I hear the sounds of clanging metal, than a heavy fabric falling right on me.

"Ow.." I groan out in pain, but only to see blue everywhere. The tent gets lifted off me, the sun hitting my eyes.

"Good morning to you too, Ethan," I say, standing up from the ground.

"Sorry about that!" He says happily.

"Every once in awhile we move locations between the 3."

I nod, in understanding.

"To hide from Marzia and Felix." He adds on. I help him pack up the tent as the rest of the group waits further down the field. I pick up my backpack as we approach them.

"So, where are we off?" I wonder.

"Just a little place where we used to hang out before all... this."

Sean stays in the back of the group, his loud, cheery voice not being heard like usual. I decide to let it go. The love of his life did just die..

We start heading off, stabbing zombies here and there along the way.

It's just become such a... lifestyle. Killing things everyday. Seeing dead things. Even if we act happy on the outside, on the inside, there's always the thought at the back of our head saying "What if we die tomorrow? Or if our loved ones did?" I used to think about it all the time. I just never thought that that question could be so true.

A few hours go by, my legs starting to get sore. I look around, realizing we're in a forest. I walk along the grass instead of the dirt path, staying stealthy just in case. I scan the ground, looking for any signs.

"You having fun in the shadows, Ky?" Ethan calls over.

"It's better than being with you!" I retort back, a smirk on my face. I keep looking at the ground, searching. If anything of hers is here, then we're in trouble. I stop, looking at the ground, seeing a minigun. I look up at the trees above me, rope entangled in the branches. Footsteps surround my gun, the one that got us caught, the one that Signe took all the blame for. The footsteps were made by heels, not sneakers. Strands of pink hair are in the tree. A slight rustling in the bushes seem to stop. I slowly walk over to it, but a voice stops me.

"Come on Kyla, hurry up!" Mark shouts, way ahead of me. I look back at the bush, then him, then nod, running over to the group.

I'm just crazy.

Marzia can't be following us, can she?

Marzia's POV (surprise)

I step out of the bush, seeing Kyla run back to her stupid friends. How foolish. But, I have to admit. She was smarter than I gave her credit for. Noticing the strands of hair in the tree, and the footsteps that barely made an imprint around the gun? I will be more careful next time. You better watch out Kyla. You may not remember what you did to me, but it's forever engraved into my mind. You don't know what's coming. And I don't think you want to.
